I know I’m going to sound like a snob but I find cardholder to look cheap and not be worth the expense. Yes, the wallet at times cost like 4 cardholders but you’re getting the real deal. Plus many cardholder tend to not last too much.

It’s difficult I usually only take long wallets for sit down meals and back home they are never comfy to hold on a whole night out unless you got a big bag to throw it in…. But what’s the point of that. This did however manage to fit in my jacket pocket the Chanel one and feel comfy.

Do any of the Louis Vuitton wallets stay open when you lay them flat on a table? I’ve heard people claim that some of Louis Vuitton wallets don’t close when they lay on a flat surface and that they stay half open which would be a bit of a dealbreaker if it’s the case since I like my wallets to be able to close when they sit on my nightstand..

LV is the worst luxury wallet ive owned, no it does not lay closed when on a flat surface… and like he said in the video, the canvas cracks & the glazing peels away after heavy use. Just a shit wallet in my opinion, I wouldn’t even pay $50 for a new one.

Yes. I prefer the buttery soft, supple Monogram Shadow calf leather or Taurillon cowhide leather over canvas, epi or taiga. These leathers will break in nicely and allow for a thinner, more streamlined carry. And they will lay closed when on a flat surface (after breaking in).
