Is it just me, or is anyone else annoyed when handbags do not have “feet” on the bottom to protect it when it is put on its bottom? This should be on an expensive handbag. Recently a famous designer was written about in a paper. Apparently it costs around $12 to make a handbag that is sold for approximately $1500! I think workers should be compensated for their craftsmanship, but in this case, that was not their practice. So much luxury is not better, it’s only about the label and the perceived status it gives. I recently married very well, but I live in a small town. No one here is into designer anything. Instead, the status is reflected in where their kids go to school, the type of dock they have on the lake, they type of travel they do, and other less apparent “tells”. It is very subtle and if you’d meet any of these people, you’d never guess some are owners or CEOs of billion dollar companies, doctors with thriving medical practices or successful business owners. The only way you’d be able to tell is if you’re invited to one of their family functions, such as a wedding for them be of their children. In which case you’d see some of these people will be dressed in high end brands, but only in the most understated way. If you took a look at the parking lot, you’d see some Bentleys and some other very expensive cars. Overall, on a regular basis, no one is flashing their wealth.

I absolutely love this channel. I’ve watched for a long time, and content has always been superb, but there were times when I didn’t feel it pertained to me. I live a horse farm life- jeans and gilets. All of us seemed to have evolved, and Anna’s now lighthearted approach is very engaging and fun. My favorite channel now, others don’t come close.

I feel the same way about watches that look like that. It feels too formal and bulky for me to wear often. Then I recently learned that traditionally, women usually only wore watches that were more integrated into a more feminine jewelry piece. And it totally made sense, it simply just doesn’t feel feminine enough for my dainty wrists. I’m currently obsessed with the idea of delicate watch jewelry. Cuz I will never be wearing a smart watch!

The blue vest is good for spring and autumn. Perfect to wear with longsleeves or dresses with long sleeves. I prefer to choose longseeve and wide trousers of the same color like white or in your case yellow or green. Skirt instead of trousers works nice and looks fresh.

the clothes and boots are too small. the belt has two other holes to make it looser. it's better to lead with that and then explain why and where they were too small and teach others...measurements and such. the boot segment was almost there, the jewelry, the bag, the heels, the wallet were impulse buys.

Is such a shame that designers are selling overpriced products that are uncomfortable (boots) or unfinished (green dress), impractical - the Channel little 'bag', the Hermes vest, the belt. It should be illegal to sell that stuff, there are no name things way better quality with better prices. And btw, the little wallet - there are children wallet that can be worn by adults. Is literally the only place I've seen a good and practical wallet like that.

In my opinion I think you have to be super young to wear those Chanel boxy jackets because they always remind me of old lady. So if you're not in your 20s and you try to wear one of those jackets to me it says add 15 years to your look. However I think the Chanel jacket looked great on you.

That's what good shoe salesmen always advise their customers to do - wait till the end of the day and try on shoes/boots when you're on your way home from work. Why? Because your feet really do expand very slightly throughout the day, and you want to try on shoes and boots at the end of the day, when you're most tired.

Anna I like this video and agree with most of your points except two. The small GC bag, you don’t need a wallet these days. Just your phone is enough for almost everything. I love these small bags that only fit my phone and maybe one lipstick. Also the Channel jacket looks good on you and not so oversized. The only downside to it is that it looks better on an older lady. So may be hang on to it until you get older 🥰

Those boots are gorgeous, but yes, don't buy things that don't fit properly and are not comfortable. I don't think any shoes are worth $2000! I can buy shoes that are comfortable when I try them on, but then I wear them, and they hurt. I don't have a really satisfactory answer to this problem.
