I've been to Janda Baik several time. Janda Baik is a location that is full of properties just like this one. However, in recent years, local authority did not manage well the growth of population (the influx of outsiders) there and it has become somewhat overcrowded with haphazard development. Many of these private developers created their own waterways tapping from the river there. Needless to say that some parts of the river is no longer a pristine stream like before. Still, some of these properties really shine out like the one you're showing here... and there are quite a few nice cafe there like the Embun Cafe, Kopi n Kraf, Kopi Ladang, Pineyard and many more.

So what’s going to happen when your daughter wants to go to university? You’ll pay international fees because you need three years of residency to qualify for local fees even if you’re a British national! This is why all expats like me send our kids to the uk to boarding schools before their GSCEs - year 10 start so they can qualify for state funding and university at local fees. Once our kids graduate they get their specialised training and licenses and rejoin us where ever we are and they then don’t repay the student loans because they never go back 😂😂😂 that’s how you do it Saira - you’re welcome
