LUXURY RIAD IN THE HEART OF MARRAKECH // Riad Demeures d'orient

This week we jump in a taxi and then a bus as we leave Taghazout on our way to Marrakech! We have visited this beautiful city before and we were so excited to go back, walk the streets and immerse ourselves in the culture.
We stayed in the beautiful Riad Demeures d'orient in the heart of the old medina of Marrakech. The Riad felt like a sanctuary away the noise and chaos of the medina and it was the perfect retreat in Marrakech.

I started thinking of Raiders of the Lost Ark during the bedroom and rooftop tour especially with Hannah wearing that long dress, and then the exploring the souk! (Yes, I know Marrakech is at the opposite end of North Africa from Egypt!!😂) The intricate decoration of the school courtyard was spectacular! The colours of the sunrises and sunsets from those different roof terraces, and the colours when you were in the alleyways if the souk, were all just amazing 👍
