I just discovered your channel. I agree with so many of the other comments. This is the best Van build I have ever seen. I like the ample seating and workspace. The elevator bed is amazing - I especially like that you can keep the bed made up. In so many builds, either the bed is fixed and is the only place to sit or it is a convertible that requires you to play Tetris with the seat cushions every night plus find a place to store the comforter and sheets during the day. Looking forward to hearing your experience of living in it in a few months! In terms of production values, your videos are very well-crafted and narrated, and the hosts are very clear and professional. Looking forward to watching others. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much!! Technically it would, but if you have any systems in the benches it becomes not feasable (our electrical system was in one bench). Also, the lower you make the benches, the less storage inside you have.

I’m no expert on van build outs, but I really appreciate your attention to detail everywhere. So beautiful - especially Nicole’s artwork. People rarely invest the time it took both of you to create all the details in combination with function that are in this van. Next to Nicole’s artwork, my favorite thing is the rattan inserts in the upper cabinets for light to show thru. Genius!

This van is really beautiful and I really love a lot of elements of the design, one thing I do have to mention though is that seatbelts on seats which face sideways are really not recommended because they actually make the seat more dangerous to travel in (a seatbelt in a front facing seat stops you lurching forward in a crash, if you're facing sideways with a belt like this your torso lurches towards the front of the vehicle whilst your legs are held in place by the belt) Seatbelt laws for campervans can be complicated but I do think there are at least some places where carrying passengers with only seatbelts like this would be technically illegal (though laws like that are often not well enforced)

Thank you so much for all this detailed info! Definitely something to consider moving forward, I knew it wouldn't be legal but did not consider it may in some cases be more dangerous (although sitting without a seat belt at all still seems more dangerous in this scenario). Cheers!
