It's wonderful that the prior owners retained some of the interior features of the villa, especially the ceilings, the floor, the fireplaces. Those elements allow visitors to get an idea of some of the original charm of the villa.

Danilo you mentioned the best feature, the lovely outdoor space that feels nice and large with pool and fountain, except that it's totally contained by the walls and actually a rather small amount of landscaping to maintain. So we can have a pool and greenery, but not so much maintenance work. I do like the villa and the ease of getting into Florence center. Ciao

You've had a busy week, Danilo, and we appreciate your bringing this to us! This is truly one of the prettiest properties you have shown. I can't believe I am saying that as a person who generally detests anything modernized, but this house is stunning. If you look around and beyond the modern art and colors and modernities, it is easy to see how the ancient details have been respected, preserved and even incorporated brilliantly and also very tastefully. Really breathtaking in so many ways. Also, the garden is just amazing; in my mind it is even equal to the one you featured by Pietro Porcinai (you see, we are listening!). This garden alone could sell the property even if the building were a ruin! As the added touch - I personally believe that anything that once housed people who devoted their entire lives to prayer and service, as would a convent or monastery, has to hold some great positivity within its walls. What a gem this house is.

I love how you described the garden as the "pulsing heart" of the property, Danilo. ✨🌺 I also adore the secluded feeling of the master suite upstairs, with its long corridor, large en suite bathroom and vanity. I currently don't have such a vanity 😓 (really need, or would greatly like to have one). The underfloor heating throughout is a sublime touch as well. Sidebar: I'm coming to Italy to meet you... 😂
