Hi Jide, most likely this is due to the base price being compared to the model home price. Base price with new builds do not include upgrades or the lot. The lot could be a big portion of this difference, and also the outdoor living space. And most homes even with upgrades don't come close to the model home level of upgrades that include interior design touches. These also come with the furniture. Hi Rene, I am a garage person too...I have my garage air conditioned and very well organized, so I get it. Problem with models though is many times they lock the garage as they store materials in them, or have sales or building offices in them, or even maintenance supplies. It is a beautiful house, but I laughed so hard when I saw the warning sign in the living room: "CAUTION High Gloss Tile Slippery Floors" Honestly: that is exactly why I never ever would buy a house with these floors, no matter how gorgeous it looks. I love to be able to walk through my living room without being extra cautious. IMHO a good design combines function and looks and does not sacrifice function for looks.
