These two entertainers careers were on fire at this time. Despite being NBC employees, I never knew they hosted this video show because it was too White. I think ABC's New York Hot Tracks video show was off the air at this time but that was the Black show we watched. Both debuted the same night in 1983, if I remember correctly.

Friday Night Videos... Goodness, I remember the video shows of the 80s and they came on late at night. Starting around 11pm. So, depending on whether you had a Mother and Father that showed you some leniency on the weekends. You wouldn't have seen anything. Praise ALMIGHTY GOD for my Mother. She let me stay up late. Although, after midnight my eyes got ridiculously heavy. I was truly a lightweight. Ha!!!
