Hey man i have the same charger and i have a question since i'm kinda new to the hobby. I have a GensAce Soaring 11.1 3cells 2700mpah battery and when i bought it the shop owner told me that it should be stored at 50% and 3.8~3.9 volts per cell. My question is how do i know that the battery is at said characteristics.

Using this charger, you would press and hold the storage button to storage charge the battery. The charger will automatically bring the battery to around 50% or 3.8 volts per cell. LiPo Cell Checkers are also very useful for checking the status of batteries if you lose track. 👍

With a standard battery how does it know how many amps to charge at? Im looking for a very simple battery charger to get my dad that can charge and store batteries .

Good question, I’m not exactly sure how it knows. All I found on their website is that it can “intelligently adjust the charging current according to the charging voltage flow of the battery” when it comes to charging non-smart packs.

It detects how fast the voltage climbs up and adjusts based on that

Man everytime i try to connect my non smart battery the red light at the top flashes. Does this mean I need to firnware update the charger?

@@robhasdriven895 That’s odd, sorry to hear. Maybe a connection issue? There’s a troubleshooting guide in the manual that walks through the error codes based on which lights are flashing.

@@thesirenboys No, it only charges LiPo, LiHv, LiFe, and NiMh batteries.
