I actively refused to grind for the Grandmarshal Gear in SoD because the Corfeforged 6-piece combined with stamina-weighted cloak, neck, rings and 1 trinket is so much better for damage and mediocre survivability. There is no need for HP when you can just go for CC + Oneshot line-up's. Great Video!

When you time repentance during a swing animation. The damage doesnt break it. Even on a twist. Like this you can effectively get 2 sealtwist swings in before it breaks.

T1 also has the upside of fire resistance, which is really REALLY good vs shamans with lavashock and flameshock. If you activate fire res aura with t1 and the fire res enchants on back and shoulders vs a shaman, they hit like wet noodles. I noticed the change when doing pvp using t2, that I am at a much higher risk of dying to shamans. T2 has nature and frost resist, which is okay vs frost mages, but since its mixed, you don't have the same effect as t1 has on shamans and there is a LOT of cocky shamans that need humbling.

the twist macro is always good. without the 6 piece the window to seal twist is much smaller but still possible

it wont, the set bonus that seems to be the core of this build is SoD exclusive, youre better off running reckadin with pvp armor for anniversary

Because it's a different build ; He choose to go 10% more strengh, for uninterrups while csting/healing for 70% (100% in consec aura Btw) , 12% more healing power on Holy lights and Flashes of life ( divine lights too) , consecration which is ok for certain plays ( like discovering rogues with consec l1) and he goes then for ilumination, which make him more mana efficient when doing crit healing. Going for prot have his stuff and lot of defense stats and stuns but your heals are expensive and don't heal as much ( at least with full ret gear because no int on it). oh and also more damage of seal of martyr or martydoom.

it's nice, but when you don't have time to do pve raids, you have to make do with pvp parts and the set bonus isn't great. I play a bit of the same spec and I switch with the reckoning spec, it’s also super fun

I know double judge without raid set is not possible amymore and that was a hit for me, now you saying that the dmg difference from pve to pvp gear is enormous i think i cant take more hits

the build i showed is very gear dependent. you could just use full pvp gear and go the reckoning route. but if you wanted to do the seal twisting build unfortunately, you have to raid

Blizzard needs to stop picking favorites. Doesn't allow new players to play alliance gives alliance huge advantage no mass dispell for a paladins bubble no greater holy protection potion and no pallys on horde. What they did is creat a first come first serve server with a huge tilt towards alliance and pallys. Pallys were never this good in classic why buff a class that gets a free immune to all damage for 10 seconds in damage. They also have good crowd control. Playing favorites and changing classic to be more like retail was the biggest fuck you to classic players, pvp, new players .

T2 4 set bonus is actually way more dps than t1 6 piece. It also lets you have more of pvp gear while having more dps than t1.

DPS in PvE yes, but not the ability to sealtwist + sealstack judge (judging with 2x seals) + another GCD which results in the FAR HIGHER Damage Peaks and depending on armor of the enemy target and how often you're critting you can deal enough damage to just one or two-shot enemies. There is no need for "DPS" when the fight is over in 2 seconds.

@@Kenji-117 the problem is that judgement of command doesn’t really do that much damage, and u can still seal twist without stacking, sure u get more gcd but if u don’t one shot then ur dps goes way down. Warriors etc can’t be one shot even with t1 and mages etc can be one shot even with t2 in my experience

Not ironic. Ret paladin loses half its damage if you don't have the PVE tier set since they removed double judging and the PVP set has dogshit stam. The damage reduction aura combined with the HP bonus in BGs that make it so that everybody not a potato has over 10k hp means that ret pallies cant oneshot without reck and are a wheelchair class otherwise. Basically means Rets are way better outside of BGS and the shamans, boomkins and hunters dominate in bgs. It is what it is.

@@Gotmilk0112 it was 2 phases, 2 and 3 specifically, and it was a different spec each phase, not the same. ret has been consistently bonkers for 4 phases straight, from 1 through 4 and soon to be 5, and they are literally getting to the point where they are super heroes. they are running around one-shotting boomkins, bears and warriors dude. learn to cleanse and you'd have been fine in phase 3. phase 2 i admit enhance was broken and that was promptly fixed in phase 3. you saying shaman was "busted" for "4 phases straight" is just the usual paladin cope take. phase 1 was garbage for shaman. 2 and 3 they were busted. 4 they are falling off, and now in 5 they are straight up bad.
