i started Sod 3 weeks ago (New), playing a Paladin with 1 hand and shild. For me is Sod like a new game and i have very fun with it. Yesterday i was hitting lvl 40 :)

@@steadychasingmoneybands6213 They are not locked. There is 1 main pvp server (crusader Strike) and 1 PVE. I believe its (Wild Growth) if you make a character on the other servers, youd be able to free transfer your character to one of these realms

Shartqueesha the Ret Paladin here, I joined SOD 3 weeks ago, hit 60 2 weeks ago and I'm already BiS with the exception of back and trinket. One shotting people in BGs, clearing AQ 40. The barrier to entry is much lower than in classic and loot is much quicker. Community is alive and shoutout to Arkaviun for pushing us to the open world for PvP and giving us a place to hang out.

I've been tempted to jump back into SoD but it just reminded me of a vanilla fun private server where everything is OP and there's no real challenge, if it was more like Turtle WoW where there's tons of extra custom content and talent/skill reworks rather than reused spells from other expansions I'd be all about it. Glad others are enjoying it though, it is fun to see how nutty PvP can be.

Its more challenging than anniversary so I dont get the point. Whats the alternative? I personally loved Season of Mastery, where we had no world buffs and raid bosses got buffed, which really was a challenge. But that had like a population of 1k players going into AQ, if even..

@ I play Anniversary for nostalgia and Turtle WoW for a better Classic+ experience. Like I said at the end of my original comment, if you enjoyed it that’s cool I’m just not a fan of how Blizzard has done Classic+ so far, it just feel gimmicky to me.

its a mix of TBC+Wrath Ret with easier seal twisting and hard hitting Cstrike/DivineStorm + Exor on anything

Time to enjoy the game. That's the sole reason I enjoy ESO and Gw2. Gear in those games is lateral, you can come back and still be competitive. Gear makes gameplay changes and isnt about pure stats. Thanks for this video. I am going to give it a shot.

A lot of low level dungeons still being run in SoD and it at least has more than 5 viable speccs compared to classic. As soon as I reached 60 in anniversary I realized that I don't even want to bother with that lame endgame and changed back to sod

You can join the leveling progress in SoD yes, but when you hit 60 what can a fresh player do that? cuz with little gold and no gear and you just wanna keep up with other 60s but you will never ever be invited to A Raid and get gear as a fresh i know the players mindset be overgeared for the content for smooth and easy run, so you has to grind entry level gear for months? I love your shorts tho they are insane :D

SOD is fun, i played after P1 however getting into groups is a bit hard considering people want geared players for their easy content, e.g: a zg some would expect you to be in BWL gear. joined a real farm group got kicked after scholo because "i wasn't geared enough".....

Since mid P2 SoDisaster has been on a downhill trend. It's a powercreep nightmare and falls short of anything a P server can offer. The only good thing I have noticed is it has got rid of a lot of the sort of players who almost ruined Classic in the first place. If they keep the game mode alive and it stops the morons playing Classic, I am all for it.
