Caldo de Res one of my favorite Mexican dishes I recommend for you when you cook this dish again once soup is cooked add a couple of leaves from one stem of mint into the pot and leave for 15 minutes and you’re going to love the taste much more Many people don’t do this but it’s a little secret i learned from my mother 😁

Yeah mint like 1 or 2 fresh branches no more and 8-10 fresh coriander branches..we put both together..and we cook the chicken on the same way. But if you don't have mint...just put everything that you put plus 8-10 fresh coriander (cilantro) at the end to boil like 5 minutes just for flavor.

So funny that you uploaded this on the day I was helping a friend make kimchi too. Made a large batch with two large cabbages. I actually really enjoy making kimchi. It's easy, just time consuming! I've ended up altering the original recipe I followed from Maangchi and added fuji apples to it to make it naturally sweeter. :)

I originally tried it with Korean pear but, it didn't give me enough flavour that I wanted since pear has too much water content. I would have to say that both my parents and my friend's family liked it best with the apples in it! I hope you like it!

The Caldo de Res looked amazing! My mom would be so proud of you. I never make it because I am pescatarian. If I show my husband this video he is sure to make a huge pot for himself and his employees. TIP: If like some spice: a bit of salsa when it's served or even adding in some jalapeño when it's cooking - not recommended when you have kids. Now you have to cook Caldo de Pollo (Chicken Soup). The kids are all so cute.

Love that you made Caldo De Rez!! It’s my favorite, the Salvadorian version is the same, except we use Yucca instead of potatoe and we add green beans. My husband is diabetic, so now I just buy bone broth and cook veggies in it. I miss the beef though.
