After all that work to put resin on the part you might as well put fiber I've found it is better to just laminate just like a foam plane. It ends up being a good balance between strength time and cost. One thing to note laminating is good for 2 m or under anything bigger carbon fiber.

Hi Rene, I just come a cross your another video, how are you ? Well, about that fin printing , next time design if you do T (male and female shape plug) on your next design where contact surfaces then, you can simply click them (of course glue it before) then it becomes a solid part and it will be very firm. One way to get pla 3d print stronger is to have a bigger nozzle, like 0.8mm and have thicker layer size like 0.4mm.

@taxart Жыл бұрын
@@bensonfilmworks7595 Well, the thinest you can do when it comes to walls and infill is 0.8 instead of 0.4 with a standard nozzle, so you have to compensate the amount of walls and percentage of infill to end up with the same weight.

I can understand what you mean but every time you say grinding I picture you taking an angle grinder and cutting through something. But never the less what you are doing here is "sanding" the surfaces, not grinding them.
