Somehow they think it a sin to remember and celebrate a glorious day.. a day that was celebrated by a entire host of heavenly angels, Singing and praising God. A day the angels literally showed themselves to shepherds and exclaimed to them with great gladness and joy. A day that brought shepherds to The king of kings and Lord of Lords to celebrate and worship at the feet of the baby Jesus and even pulled wisemen and kings from other countries to worship a child.. the God child. I can only think of one that would want us to forget such a wondrous event of miracles and reason for great celebration that focuses on our Lord and Savio and that would be.... Satan. Why else do you think he tries to derail this day with a little fat man dressed in red and has satans name written in his name "Santa" (Satan) ... Because he Satan wants to get mankind to wipe out all memories of God in every way possible. And Christmas brings mankind's thoughts to Jesus Christ... And Satan doesn't want that.

Satan didn't tweak Christmas. Culture created a holiday. All you need to know and celebrate is in your Bible. I recommend studying the feasts as every major event from Jesus' birth, crucifixion, death, etc were told in the stars. Celebrate the feasts out of joy/respect and nothing more. I believe the return of Jesus will be at a feast.
@IWasGivenRest2 жыл бұрын
Christmas and Easter have always been rooted and originating from paganism. Christians decided to change it so they could celebrate a holiday about God. It is false history and a plain lie to say Christmas was ever a Christian Holiday. It's not wrong to use Christmas to glorify God, but people need to stop saying it was a Christian Holiday that Satan changed to be secular, instead of the other way around, it only hurts our attempt to reach souls to claim a lie as truth.

Nothing wrong with celebrating His birth that was foretold from the very beginning. As a matter of fact, if you didn't celebrate His birth like everyone else did at Jesus' time (Simeon, Anna, wise men, shepherds, all of Israel!) then there is something wrong with you or you have no understanding.. His birth is more likely Sept 11 though. I think the pastor was having a little fun putting it to those who take Christ like a few days off of work.. The Father put Jesus' birth in the stars for all to know that His plan for redeeming Israel was as promised. Gentiles get to take part in that.

For starters everything is not mentioned in the Bible. That is why Jesus gave Peter the power to lead the church, and that power has a succession component to it that is seen up until today. And for those that do not accept the power of succession, claim to interpret the Bible through a conversation they had with the Holy Spirit, which supports their own bias.

The Truth is...... You don't want to. You want the Benefits given to you without he effort. SOUNDS FAMILIAR.. Want FREE Salvation? I remember Philippians.2:12 saying.".WORK out your Salvation with Fear and trembling". Jesus said it would cost us. So much for the Doctrines of Demons who work to Will try to work within us both to will and do his bad pleasure ! The opposite of GOD. How's this- Here is a FREE Home Security System. (Free Gift) you didn't earn it. All you have to do is Pay to Maintain it!!!?? Is it really Free? Look back to the Old Testament and see how FREE IT Wasn't! It cost them too. Some Honored GOD & others and went Upstairs, while other choose not to and suffer downstairs. We get out of it what we put into this Life in the END. It's like that in our world & in His.
