"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man's all. There's none that do good and sin not....James and John wanted preferential sits, Peter said he will not leave Jesus's side...when we come to Christ at times we will feel like sinning and we will at times sin...but there's a difference in committing a sin and continuing in that sin...when we realize the mercy and forgiveness of God...we will not want to drive a wedge between us and a loving God...we live in a fallen world...therefore if we don't remain anchor in God's word, spent time praying, keep praising HIM in songs and thank HIM for all HIS blessings and favors HE has done and continues to pour into us...we will never be able to stifle the appetite to sin...stay blessed

Excellent video. Word of preached here. Thank you Jesus! Judas baptized. Judas cast out demons. Jesus loved Judas. Washed his feet. He was clean. But Jesus knew not Judas. Who He was. Only a few will Jesus know. Most 'folks' will He not know in this world that lieth in wickedness. Like times of Noah and Lot will He return. Thank you Jesus. Rev 22:11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. Matt 26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

Thank you for your comment! I have a push-back from John 13:10 that tells us that Judas in fact was not clean. Jesus said that not all were clean while Judas was present at the washing. But after Judas went out (John 13:30), Jesus then said that all who were present were clean (John 15:3) Jesus indeed loved all His disciples unto the end (John 13:1) which truly shows us how great and deep the compassion, mercy, and grace of our Lord is but Judas was in no wise clean and was a devil from the beginning (John 6:70). There will be many in the day of the Lord who will say that they did all these great and marvelous things in Christ’s name but the reality is that their hearts are far from Him (Matthew 15:8) and they are actually workers of iniquity-not righteousness (Luke 13:27).

The 21:32 minute mark, how was Judas NOT saved when God Himself called him to become a disciple and an apostle? Can a disciple not be saved? Can a man that believed Jesus, studied under him, casted out demons, healed the sick, and was selected for the position of apostleship NOT be saved. Judas lost (forfeited) salvation when iniquity was found in his heart. He betrayed Jesus. Although he regretted and confessed his wrong, Judas killed himself and made Hell Fire his eternal abode.

Yes. Judas was instrumental in God's Plan for Salvation of humanity. Yes, Judas had the freedom to choose, after the betrayal happened and Jesus was sentenced to death on cross (not before that). He was assigned to betray so that Scripture may be fulfilled. But later, Judas had the choice to repent and come back to Jesus, like what Peter did. Then he also would definitely have been pardoned and saved. Great are teh ways of God. Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God".

About Judas Iscariot Jesus came to save that which was lost and Jesus came down from heaven to do the will of his Father who is in heaven and it is the spiritually sick who need a doctor not the spiritually healthy and Jesus never turn anyone away. Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 5:31,32 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. Mat 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Mark 14:18-21 And as they were reclining at table and eating, Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me.” 19 They began to be sorrowful and to say to him one after another, “Is it I?” 20 He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who is dipping bread into the dish with me. 21 For the Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.” Luke 22:47-48 While he was still speaking, there came a crowd, and the man called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He drew near to Jesus to kiss him, 48 but Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?” John 13:1-2 Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. 2 During supper, when the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him, Mat 26:14-15 Then one of the twelve, whose name was Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, “What will you give me if I deliver him over to you?” And they paid him thirty pieces of silver. John 13:21 After saying these things, Jesus was troubled in his spirit, and testified, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” John 13:26-30 Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I will give this morsel of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. Then after he had taken the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.” Now no one at the table knew why he said this to him. Some thought that, because Judas had the moneybag, Jesus was telling him, “Buy what we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor. So, after receiving the morsel of bread, he immediately went out. And it was night. John 6:64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) John 17:11-12 And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. Mark 14:21 For the Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.” Mark 14:43-45 And immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas came, one of the twelve, and with him a crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “The one I will kiss is the man. Seize him and lead him away under guard.” And when he came, he went up to him at once and said, “Rabbi!” And he kissed him. Mat 26:21-25 And as they were eating, he said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” And they were very sorrowful and began to say to him one after another, “Is it I, Lord?” He answered, “He who has dipped his hand in the dish with me will betray me. The Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.” Judas, who would betray him, answered, “Is it I, Rabbi?” He said to him, “You have said so.” John 6:70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.”

For i know well that You are the One that hardens hearts. You send both calamity and good. Lamentations 3:38. i was instructed to love thy neighbor, and not judge or condemn. I pray for all the Judahs including me. Our sinful nature, that we're born with has all the characteristics of a judah. I lie, i steal, i betray, i deceive etc... my father was the devil. But i have been redeemed by Your precious blood and little by little all the nations that you speak of in deuteronomy 7 are being removed by Your powerful Spirit. Thank you Jesus for Your love n mercy.❤

It was PROPHESIED 600 years before that someone he broke bread with would betray him for 30 pieces of silver, and, even included where he would be buried in "the potters field". Prophecy by an adjective is PREDETERMINATION. Nothing catches God by surprise! God has no "Plan B" when Judas shows up! Everything unfolds as God has SAID. WE are the ignorant ones who get surprised! Ha ha!

As the preacher says, "To fulfill scripture". I believe that God fulfills scripture to help strengthen our faith. My human heart, however, morns for Judas. My hope is that because the Bible doesn't specifically say that Judas is in hell, although certain verses could be interpreted as a hellish fate, that he is somehow redeemed by the Grace of Jesus. I pray for his soul.

The Bible tells us that God uses vessels of dishonor and vessels of honor alike to show His glory (2 Tim 2:20-21). God uses honorable and dishonorable things to show His wrath and judgment. I believe the example of Judas was just that-an example and to be used to edify and rebuke true believers of Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:28-29 tells us that God uses the base and weak things of this world to confound the wise and uses the things that are despised in this world to bring Him glory. Ecclesiastes 12:13 tells us that the whole duty of man is to fear the Lord and to keep His commands. Fearing the Lord helps us to depart from evil (Prov 3:7). This is all to the salvation of the Church which is why Jude says (v22-23) that some are saved with compassion and others with fear because the fiery wrath of God is coming. All of this is to keep us alert and sober and to remain in the fear of the Lord and despising everything tainted with evil. Judas is an example to keep us sober and reminds us that if it weren’t for the blood of Christ we would all be condemned to that same horrifying fate of Judas.

The other Disciple's name was also called Judas, the brother of Jesus. Thus it's not the name which is the problem, it's the heart. The Judas story is very disturbing on one hand but at the same time very reassuring and comforting. We all have Judas's in our lives, hypocrites or backstabbers, those who look clean and respectable on the outside whom people love and respect and admire but who are evil and demon possessed on the inside capable of the most heinous crimes. Peter also betrayed Jesus, like all the other Disciple's as well, not once but three times yet there was one major difference between the two. Satan asked Jesus permission to sift Peter or to rough him up a bit, put him through some testing in order to build character which Jesus allowed. But with Judas, Satan did not first ask permission and entered into Judas, took possession of Judas. ‭‭John‬ ‭13:27‬ ‭AMP‬‬ [27] After [Judas had taken] the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly [without delay].” The true Children of GOD, the Devil cannot take possession of us and is merely used on the outside to test us. Judas was a nice guy, probably the most liked Disciple in the band, he was the money guy, the accountant who had access to money which he could give away to impress people, as he showed fake concern for the poor when Many annointed Jesus's feet with oil. But when he realised that this Kingdom of GOD was not as glamorous as first thought and that it would be disbanded by the death of Jesus on the cross, he decided to make his move and pull out while the going was still good and do a deal with the Elites in Jerusalem. The Judas story on the other hand is very reassuring to know that Jesus chose him, it was ordained, planned by GOD that Judas would be used to fullfill prophecy and the plan of GOD. It's called Predestination, every detail was planned to happen as it did, no surprises or l didn't see that one coming, all carefully and maticulously planned by GOD, nothing catches Him off guard.

The better question is "Why did Jesus choose Paul?" Same reason. When you believe 5 point Calvinism you have a distorted lens to read scripture. Judas was given the same authority as the other 11. He could cast out devils. Jesus said "Can Satan cast out Satan?" Judas FELL by transgression. He was saved but fell away, backslid. He made a choice just like every other person does. Mt 10:22 He did not endure.

After hearing the entire message (this video) it is clear Dr Roger's is not a 5 point Calvinist. He said Judas had a choice. So I guess he's a 1 or 2 point Calvinist. But Judas HAD to be saved to do miracles. The blind man told the Pharisees "We know God does NOT hear sinners."

Jesus Himself Speaks About Hell And How Not To Go There: In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus describes a rich man that lived lavishly and a poor beggar man named Lazarus. It came to pass that Lazarus died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man died, was buried, then went to hell. 23 And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in TORMENT, saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented IN THIS FLAME. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received good things, and likewise Lazarus received evil things, but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that they which would pass from hence to you can not, neither can they pass to us, and would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray you therefore father, that you would send him to my father’s house. 28 For I have 5 brothers that he may testify unto them, lest also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham said unto him, They have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay father Abraham, but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” LOCATION OF HELL: Jesus said in Matthew 12:40, ”For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH.” Paul said in Ephesians 4:9, ”Now that he ascended, was it but that he also DESCENDED into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH.” HELL IS A PLACE OF FIRE: Jesus said in Luke 16:24,”….Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue for I am TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME.” Jesus said in Matthew 13:42,”And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE, there shall be WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.” Jesus said in Matthew 25:41,”Then shall he also say to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels.” Jesus said in Revelation 20:15,”And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.” HELL IS A PLACE OF TORMENT: Jesus said in Luke 16:23,”And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENT….” 24 …..for I am TORMENTED in this flame.” Jesus said in Revelation 14:11,”And the smoke of their TORMENT ascended up FOR EVER AND EVER, and they have no rest day or night….” Jesus said in Mark 9:45-46,”And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off, it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the FIRE THAT NEVER SHALL BE QUENCHED. 46 Where their WORM DIES NOT, and the fire is not quenched.” Note that it doesn’t say “THE Worm”, it says “THEIR WORM” dies not. Jesus said in Revelation 21:8,”But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, which is the second death.” Note that Brimstone is Sulfur and burns with a very strong odor of rotten eggs. The scriptures above prove when a person goes to hell they will constantly see hell, constantly smell hell, constantly feel the heat of hell, will constantly breath hell, will constantly hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth of others in hell, will constantly be aware of their own worms, they will have no rest day or night, there is no way out and it will continue for ever and ever, they can’t die because they are already dead. The following is how to not go there and it is a SIMPLE AND EASY thing to do: All of the book of Acts is what Jesus disciples said what we must to be SAVED - meaning not go to hell, which is repentance, water baptism in Jesus NAME, (Not the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and being baptized with the Holy Ghost. Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not name's) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time they invoked Jesus NAME at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16. Jesus said in John 3:3-7,"Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man BE BORN AGAIN, he can not see the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water which is for the REMISSION OF SINS - meaning the INITIAL remission of sins and not the confessing of sins later addressed in 1 John 1:9. Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost. What being baptized with the Holy Ghost means is addressed in Acts 2:3-4, (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5 - which is when the Spirit of Christ initially dwells in a person. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:1-5 is a good example. Paul said in Romans 8:9-11,”But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS." Numbers 23:19, ”God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent, has he said and shall he not do it? And shall he not make it good?” Malachi 3:6,”For I am the Lord, I change not...” Hebrews 13:8,”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” That means there is no reason to think that Jesus will make an exception and save someone that has not been baptized in water in Jesus NAME, and has not been baptized with the Holy Ghost. Some say the thief on the cross next to Jesus was not baptized yet Jesus told him he would be in paradise with him that day. Jesus had not given the COMMANDMENT to be baptized in HIS NAME until after he had risen from the dead and before he ascended into heaven. The thief on the cross could not have been baptized because he did not know about it. if you do what Jesus said above in Mark 16:16, Matthew 28:19, and John 3:3-7, you will be making SURE your name is Written In Lamb's Book Of Life. If you are convinced you need to get baptized in water in Jesus Name do a search and type in "United Pentecostal Church International", scroll down to just below the red box, type in your zip code, a screen will show a Church near you that will do that. Jesus said John 10:27, ”My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

The True Gospel for True Revival ! : Realize you are a sinner being sorry. Sin is lying, evil thoughts, lust, etc. Therefore, do not trust in your own works to go to heaven because you realize, being a sinner, you cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that God requires to pay for sin. Instead, believe, meaning fully trust, that in Christ's love for you, on the cross, His one perfect blood sacrifice; when Christ bled, suffered and died, in your place, paid for your sins in full, past, present and future ! Believe that Jesus rose from the dead ! Believe Jesus is God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore ! And believe that the sinless blood of Jesus Christ is what cleanses you from all sin, which purifies your soul ! Then the Lord Jesus will forgive you, save you from hell and give you eternal life, and you will be sealed with the Holy Spirit who will dwell within you forever ! And thank Jesus ! I really love the question in the title of this sermon: Why did Jesus choose Judas as his disciple. Jesus said to his disciples 'you did not choose Me but I chose you (John 15 v16) And repeated in the next verse: I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last... in the beginning it is not likely that Jesus knew exactly who would betray Him as it is written only later in John 13 that he knew who it was and then only it says that 'satan entered into him.' So he still had a real choice in the final moment. Jesus then told him to 'do it quickly' and he 'immediately went out into the night'.. But at the beginning I do not think Jesus knew. There are more things that Jesus did not know, like when He would return to earth. (Mt 24 v30-36)
