ITV produced some iconic programmes for Saturday nights such as Gladiators and Blind Date plus Family Fortunes and other top rated weekend shows for having the perfect night in.

Hours before a certain News Story broke resulting in the schedules (including everything seen in the LWT Trailer which was presumably meant for the weekend of 6th/7th September 1997) out the window.
