Picked mine up last week. The instructions were not very clear and this video was just posted. I recommend watching it at least 2 times its a lot better then the book. Side note your blade tensioner wrench is in the box with the blade

What was your wait time?

I cannot wait for mine to arrive. Looking forward to cutting some of my trees off of my property.

You ordered one of these? How is the cutting? Is it smooth? Do the blades gum up with saw dust after a day worth of cutting?

It would be nice to see some recommendations for building a platform for this mill. I just received the LX55 and although putting together this mill is going to be quite a chore figuring out a suitable base is another story.
@rogerdenney36636 ай бұрын
I recommend watching several videos of the LX55 and 25, and the comparable Woodland Mills mills. Pay close attention the bases used. Many, many options, I went with the LX50 Super which is the 55 rebranded. Should get it in a few weeks!!

great video, very clear, however, as this is a 'portable' unit, having a 'trolley' with it, to store the parts in initially, And for tools, blades, etc. during use, would be advantageous, esp. since the 'crete' you show it packed in is single use, you 'break it' the first time, and the wood screws, zip strips are only single use; this trolley (minus the engine, of coarse), would be a more environmentally sustainable solution (less waste, from packaging materials).

Is there an add on cursor for setting up board thickness? The scale is good but you need a movable cursor to pick the thickness you need to be repeatable from the top of the cant.

What is the difference between the LT model line and the LX
@woodmizer Жыл бұрын
Hi Paul Chace, thank you for choosing Wood-Mizer! The biggest differences are the beds, engine size, and functionality of the machines. I have linked two of our KZbin videos that I think might be of help. LX25 and LX55 Open House: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6a2l4apjLeqe8k LT15 Walkthrough: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGKahp-qi7SdZ6c

When do you put on the damn clamp points and are they supposed to spin freely or what because it’s not in the video and the instructions aren’t helpful on the matter
@bluesfool1 Жыл бұрын
Says right in the manual that they go on when you put the clamp screws in. They just spin. Once clamped they won’t move
