(So bad lol) but like they’re enemies to lovers, opposites attract situation where they try to stay away from each other but keep getting drawn back? Alright, Chapter II of the novel I left in the previous video... So in the last episode Layla was having a bad existential crisis, Zoren broke the engagement, she hook up with Caleb without really getting anything out of it and ended up really sad. So she took some time collect herself and figure out what she was going to do know. I had mentioned that Layla was looking for a way to recover her full set of mermaid powers that were taken away which she used to have power. What kind of power? I believe the ability to control/manipulate people to have them do literally whatever she wants. However so far she has been unable to recover her powers, so she was also sad and frustrated because of that. She realized that power is not the only thing she wants right now. She's having mixed feelings because she thought she didn't "need" any sort of relationships to get what she wants, friends, family or a partner because she's had to fend for herself. But now that she's had a taste of what that is and she has children of her own (although she hasn't been a good mom), she might be leaning into that (that's why she's thinking about a long term relationship) but she hasn't forgotten or given up on her desire to recover her powers, so that's why she changed to the "beach" aspiration, to try and find another way to regain them. Victor has remained a friend ever since their relationship didn't work out and Lily "dissappeared". I mentioned before that Layla made it seem as if Lily ran away so she could have Victor for herself. But he was in denial about this and had not stopped loving her. However now that time has passed he's convinced Lily was selfish and straight up abandoned him and their daughter but Layla has always been there to confort and support him, so he finally decided to give her a chance, which is why they woohoo'ed. Layla was not really looking to have more children, specially after what happened with Carlos, however she ended up pregnant with twins, and after finding out, a spark of hope for her to regain her powers has ignited. But she doesn't want to get her hopes too high again. This time she's thinking about a different path. Even without her powers she has a natural charm which draws people to her, so she wants to take advantage of this and become a celebrity so she can influence people a different way. And now that she's pregnant with Victor's baby, maybe she'll try to use him (or his money) to achieve this. Maybe she could use her cooking skill to become famous, since she's escalating on her job meaning that her food is getting known to more and more people. I would like to add, regarding Coleman and Lori a comment that inspired me from @mgrow.04 from the previous video that I think is really accurate and explains their aspirations. Coleman became a heartbreaker because that's what he grew up seeing. He saw his mom go from one man to another just to get what she wanted, so he thinks this is an "easy" way of living at the expense of other people to satisfy yourself (proof of this could be that he was first flirting with Elsa and then just drank her blood XD) without really caring for the other person. And since he inherited Layla's charm, it's easy for him to attract people. As a side note, if Coleman ever ruins Layla's relationships could also be some sort of vengeance against her, because he saw her hurt his dad and probably because seeing her bring different man into her life was probably weird and uncomfortable to watch so he wants to "make her pay". As for Lori, she wants to do the opposite because she believes in true love and that you can find "the one" without jumping from one person to another and without "expecting" anything out of them other than love. She knows that hurting people for your own satisfaction is not the right thing to do and she believes Layla is wrong for doing so. So she wants to have something different for herself. Just to finish this chapter, I would like to add some thoughts I have that could add some drama. I believe that not only is Coleman the only one who knows that Lily is kidnapped, but I believe he's known for a while. However I think he doesn't really know who she is, but he probably heard Layla say to Caleb that she was supposed to be his "food supply" and thought that was cool but also weird. I think he confronted her before they moved to Sulani and Layla lied and told him she was a bad person. She said she tried to kill Caleb at some point because of him being a vampire, but since she couldn't do it she was forced to become his eternal servant and that he was the one who suggested to keep her locked because he feared she could hurt the kids, specially Coleman considering he is also a vampire. And ever since Caleb used her to feed, until him and Layla broke up. So with Layla's charm she managed to convince Coleman of this and they both planned to build her "prison" like that so he was the only one able to reach her and feed from her blood. And maybe on top of that he doesn't know she's Paris mom, and since Paris thinks Lily abandoned her she probably doesn't talk about her at all which is why Coleman acts normal around Paris not knowing that it's her mother trapped up there. I'll keep updating my novel on the next spin the wheel XD
