Any description of Dionysus meeting Ariadne for the first time must be done to "When Doves Cry" by Prince. The song is basically the entire myth (Maybe I'm just like my father too bold, Maybe I'm just like my mother, she's never satisfied... Don't make me chase you, even doves (god's) have pride) It's sensuous, funky, and even refers to the wild animals that accompanied ed Dionysus ("Animals strike curious poses, they feel the heat between me and you!) 😅
