The England NZ tour and WIPL ultimatum was entirely created by Jon Lewis who told players they would miss the T20’s if they played in the WIPL semi and final. This was ironic because he was coaching in the WIPL (yes the England coach is part time) and his team were no where near getting to those stages. The guy is bad for the sport.

So I’ve just watch the matches bet SA and India, a test, ODIs, T20. And from what I’ve seen and learnt, the ambition of the ladies in India is to represent the country, playing Test cricket the ultimate game. As regards to WPL, there wasn’t many Eng players in the teams, not selected, is that because they weren’t considered good enough, or because there is an abundance of players from other countries of higher standard. Some Eng players who were selected hardly played. As for Australia, the 50 over league has some great young talent. Just name the comps in Eng where talent or experience can be gained? How many Indian players will miss the Hundred due to Asia Cup duties? I see only 5 Stars are coming, no bowlers are listed

England players were not selected as only 20 foreign players had chances to play in playing 11 many slots were filled by Australian women so many deserved English players were missed out , but in future WPL will have 6/7 teams South Africa and England players will get equal representation like Australian players

Great for women's cricket but WPL will be a dominant women's franchise league. I would want other franchise to grow too but its unlikely to happen for few years now.

I won't be concerned about international women's cricket. If you are not a top level international player you won't be getting good money in WPL . So I think player's will have to play international cricket to keep getting good money and be competitive.

After 2025 BCCI will add two more team in wpl.few years after eventually you will have 10 team in wpl which is same as ipl .10 wpl team means you need 60 foreigner player and most them will comes from Australia and England as other are not that good as you see in men cricket so eventually wpl will cause some serious problem in women cricket.wpl is not going to give a good contract to those who are playing international cricket but also to those who are playing domestic cricket in coming years especially player from Australia and England as thier domestic cricket is expectionally good they literally going to give a contract to there upcoming players even before they are available for thier nation. more than anyone else australia and England governing body should keep thier eye on wpl but with amount of money wpl can give to players . it would be difficult for both board in upcoming years.problem here is unlike men's team women world cricket is not that devloped

Yeah I have no doubt Women's cricket will be the most watched sport in the future because there is something visually Intriguing to see a woman hold a bat for some reason. It's a sight to behold

WPL is only going to grow bigger and the thing with cricket of being a gender neutral sport more tactical as we know.. I feel WPL will grow at least half as much as IPL for sure and numbers of team will only increase..!!
