Ali is sweet but that’s not the point. The point is it’s always women who get the brunt of things. I love beauty,fashion and wellness and luxury , it is such a breath of fresh air to see other women who love all this . The other thing is that i have lived with severe PTSD, dissociation and mutism, so as I am learning to be connected to myself , I love watching Lydia because she is just so expressive - I love how she stays connected to herself and talks a lot and thinks a lot and expresses her thoughts a lot . It really helps me to role model those skills of of someone else especially since I have similar interests in luxury and fine living and loving beauty in and out .

The Holiday was filmed in Shere, Surrey though it does look like it's based in the Cotswolds. We used to go on dog walks past the shell of a cottage they built from scratch to use for the exterior shots. Such a lovely Christmas film!
