You have a very freeing perspective regarding what is what or isn't shameful. However if everyone thought that way that means you can never speak on a person's actions. Someone could then come into your home or come around you and your family and conduct themselves any kind of way because they determined what is shameful. So the question would be, can you really address anyone regarding their conduct etc because they don't think it's shameful? So then can you address your husband's actions? It can become a slippery slope

It’s interesting how you’re reverse engineering old, classic, vintage pieces into your life. People who come from money naturally inherit these things, but if you are very new to money then sometimes you can have a very shiny new polished looking house without any character so I think it’s really clever that you’re taking these antique pieces and implementing them. Spiders show themselves when it rains in Australia too. Some are dangerously poisonous to both us and our little pets . So We get our house sprayed for spiders, ants and cockroaches and it’s perfectly safe for pets and our marsupials that reside near us too. I’d seriously investigate as an option for managing spiders and critters.
