Definitely sending Ms. Ananda Lewis an abundance of prayers. We go back to the BET's _Teen Summit_ days. Lyfe Jennings...interesting. I know a few songs here and there, but eh... Take it or leave it (more so leave it). He came out during the aughts and I was very displeased w/ R&B during that period. R&B just wasn't exciting like it was during the '90s. I wasn't enthusiastically checkin' for artists no more. Anyhow, vocally, he can sing and his tone is unique. Wait, see nah I'm kinda curious. Let him do a Tiny Desk so I can see if he can still sing. On Tiny Desk, there is no prerecording tired & stale vocals and lip-syncing to it, singing & sounding terrible on the low parts and then using playback from 30 years ago on the high parts, going back to doctor up the performance or using microphones that come equipped w/ auto-tune. No prepackaged, auto-tune laced microphones on Tiny Desk. You just have to sing LIVE & ON THE SPOT w/o any silly excuses.
