Lykan Fenyr Supersport - £1.5 Million Hypercar - First Look

Here it is! The Fenyr Supersport. I first encountered W Motors and the Lykan Hypersport 12 months ago on my supercar drive to Jebel Jais. 1 Year later, i'm amazed how far W Motors have evolved in such a short time to create the incredible Fenyr Supersport! An 800hp 980nm torque full carbon bodied Hypercar designed in Dubai!

Håkon Andreas Olaussen Yea I know. Lykan isn't Lycan either. It's obviously referencing Fenrir. Just playing with the name. Pretty sure you can see Fenryr> Fenrir in it. Lycan and Fenrir are wolves therefore keeping the theme alive. That is all.

Pagani and Koeinsegg offered something different when they entered the marketplace and they were able to outperform they're rivals. There is so much tech in cars now they wouldn't have a chance today to compete today and this is where W will fail. 1.5 million for a car that won't see the tail lights of a 220k 720s around any circuit.

There will also always be people who are willing to spend silly money on cars like the Fenyr or any other car like it...just because they see it as a form of art and a pleasure for the eye. A Huayra won´t see the taillights of a 720S as well, yet people are buying it because it´s just a work of art and a fantastic looking car...you could have pretty much have the same engine as a Huayra in a SL65 BS. So with some cars it´s just about the looks, money doesn´t count here.

MrPHILFULL I totally agree with that sentiment... But pagani offer tailored hand made quality, with exclusivity and most importantly brand identity.. These cars offer none of that... And pagani started off charging 300k and built up to 1.5 million pound cars by building a clientele base...and again using pagani as an example they are the exception rather than the rule...I won't bore you with a list of high end sport car makers that have failed.

dagnut Sure, I gotta give you that. W can't hold up against the others build quality and dedication at that price point, a Pagani or Koenigsegg is just so much more special than Lykan or Fenyr. The taste in design of the riches will decide if W is appealing enough to hold its own in the hard fought market of small manufacturers. My money is on Apollo to be the next "established" manufacturer, they are doing awesome things.

Team Shmo Koenigsegg is one of the few small manufacturers that really has made its mark and pushes the envelope all the time. 800hp for a hypercar is weak, it's not a hypercar by todays standards. You get 800hp in a ferrari 812.

Yeah thats right and also they reduced over 100 hp and 220 Nm of torgue I think with 900 hp this car would be extreme by that weight but for some reason they leave so much potential thats really sad Also on the official Website has written that both cars fenyr and lykan Need 9.4 seconds for 200 kph that doesen't make sense

In my opinion the fenry supersport isnt a hypercar its hyper expensive only and its a supercar. It did not give us a breakthrough in the car world such as the p1,laf,koenigsegg or the porsche 918.

Laferrari: 219 MPH, Fenyr: 245 MPH, and the 0-60 times on both cars are 2.4 seconds. So, if this car isn't a hypercar, neither is the LaFerrari.
