Lyle Lovett: Live at the Hall, 2022

Four-time Grammy winner Lyle Lovett sits down with Elizabeth Cook to discuss his new album, “12th of June,” his first album in ten years. Lovett explains how growing up in Houston, Texas, and fatherhood affect his music, and performs songs including “Pants Is Overrated,” “12th of June,” and “Pig Meat Man.” He also talks about his working relationships with singers Francine Reed and Chris Isaak and performs a humorous original song about touring with Isaak, “We Gave Each Other COVID, Now We’re Married.”
Part of the Museum’s “Live at the Hall” series, this live performance was recorded on September 15, 2022, as part of AmericanaFest 2022.

I have been a Hugh fan of Lyle Lovett but I must say I am not a fan of these two songs. It is like he lost his vocabulary and repeated the same few words over and over. I want be purchasing this album, CD Thank goodness I still have his old music
