Jackson likely qualifies for a Heavenly Mansion as well. He is a devout Christian and built his career and family on Christian values/beliefs. He also gives a million (or more) to Christian Charities, yearly. I really enjoyed his conversation with Huckabee several months ago, just a super regular kind-of guy with a big heart and full of Love of Jesus.

This is so different to the songs he sings about where he grew up,I've been to three of his concerts in Australia,travelled for thousands of kilometres to see him on some of the roughest roads in outback Australia,got to his concert and he sang one verse of here in the real world and other songs but when I went to see Bob Dylan,i really got more than my money's worth,Dylan just sings and plays the entire show.

Good night nurse!! I couldn't buy toilet paper for all them bathrooms. Then there is the possibility of getting lost in that big house!!! Even with oodles of money I wouldn't want a house that big. Imagine the electric bill, the landscaping bill, the pool guy bill, the cleaning people, etc. Then what if it needed a new roof? When you have all that money though you can pay those bills, but it seems like a big waste of money. I'll stay in my small log home! It's quite cozy!!

Can't say the man doesn't deserve it! He worked year after year after year touring on a bus (most of the time). And I doubt he's "quitting" the business, but with all him and his wife have been through it's about time they think about slowing down a little, especially with their 3 daughters all grown up now. I'm happy for them (but I'll still never understand what ANYBODY does with a house the size of that one). Hope we get to see it all decorated up at Christmas time! Congrats on the new place Alan & Denise.

Not that the Jacksons are hurting for money, but it's a SMART businessman that knows when to sell IMO. *side note: looks like they named that place Sweetbriar just like the one they had before, you can see it on the gate post. I love Alan Jackson, have been a fan for decades but I just don't get out to the concerts anymore, I don't like traveling like I did when I was younger, plus ticket prices are just too rich for my blood anymore (and that too isn't just Allan - they're all doing it - so my concert days are over. Glad I got to see him nearly 15 times tho LOL).

I would perceive these mansions as wonderful hotels, and I have to say I'd prefer a less massive, grand, more "homely" residence to live in here below. With a great garden, and a place for domestic animals to play around in. Also, I'd want to feel at ease with friends coming, and "ordinary" neighbours living around me. I'm a Christian, and I would never be that "flashy". My allegiance and treasure is not primarily in this world. However I wish folk well who enjoy this!! BUT time moves on, and all this material stuff will soon be history............please reflect. Sincerely.
