What a haunting song. I know about narcissism, etc., but I'm one of those guys that feel like this song is the story of his life.

It's hidden as an extra track on the album. But it can be found. It's my favorite! Don't forget he was once married to Julia Roberts ("Pretty Woman" and many more flicks)

I think you are correct. He created this CD right after they divorced. I think a lot of other songs are about her. It was healing to him.....beautiful! I don't think I'm alone when I say I sure would marry him!

@@tocooper76 actually it is about both. “Tim he was tall/and Susan was smart” refers to Robbins and Sarandon. (Just read an article in the NYT about Lyle).
