Our kids are all grown up and married with kids but I still worry about them when I know they’re going out I tell them to txt or ring when they’re home our oldest granddaughter still stops at ours when she goes out with her friends as most of them live in our area she lives in a different town so it would cost her a fortune for taxis so her and her friend just stay here and husband picks them up we had four of them last Friday never get easier even when they leave home you still worry about them all the time our grandson just like Riley already wore his new holiday trainers but got wrong of his dad they are now packed so he can’t wear them again before holidays socks were always a thing when ours were younger ❤

It doesn’t get any easier as they get older either! My middle daughter is 38 & an air stewardess & she drives an hour & half down to Birmingham all hrs of the day & night & I don’t sleep till she txts me to say she’s there or home ok.

I'm the same my daughter is 30 and an 8 month old baby. Just telling Kayleigh her husband will go to work dos he will say pick me up I don't rest till she's home young woman driving in the middle of a big city late at night worrying, then when they go on holiday I'm on the flight checker waiting for txt or even if they go down south to see his parents 6 hrs there,6 hrs back I'm like txt me when there or home. Lol so ye think it's a mum thing but more so with girls

@@dawnwilliamson853Im always on flight checker & sometimes they do live streams at Birmingham airport so we get to see the plane take off or land sometimes but it’s the driving up & down the motorway that worries me especially after a long shift when she’s tired in the early hours. No wonder I have grey hairs lol 😳

Kayleigh I think it's all part of being a mum. When my daughter was at home I wouldn't let her pay for a taxi home I was the taxi. When she met her now husband I didn't go to sleep till she was in. She left home 5 1/2 yrs ago, the company her husband works for take their staff out sort of every 3 months or so for a meal because it cost so much for taxi, she'd come to mine till it was time to pick him up, I would say ring when home now they have a 8 month old baby he only goes on special occasions leaves baby with me goes to pick him up come back for baby then I say ring when home. You have to be careful these days especially a young woman driving alone in a big city then the roads. I don't think you ever stop worrying about them xx

Oh Kayleigh u wouldn’t like Glasgow then lol was £13 odds for 2 hours the other day was nearly sick . And no doesn’t get any easier the older they get oldest 28 with own child then 24 n 21 n I’m ill when I know there out hate it lol xx

It's getting straighter, if she could get that heel to the floor she'd be away. She gets alot of aching pain and can't walk far, but overall we are positive she's going in the right direction ❤️
