Thanks for sharing your story! So many people don't understand the complexities of Lyme disease and what we have to go through in order to heal. Glad to hear you are doing better and that you were able to find the support and treatments that helped you get to where you are today.

I relate to your story and emotions so much. Going on 50 I had this most of my adult life since I was 19. I still have symptoms and people telling me its all in my head. Stay strong and embrace the good days.

One of the best descriptions for Lyme is what you said, "Something doesn't feel right." You experienced heavy-hitter symptoms right away.

I was bitten by an infected tick in 1986. I had a bull's eye rash but there was nothing much known about Lyme disease then. I became very sick after 3 week's of the bull's eye rash. It took 27 years to get diagnosed with Lyme disease. Lyme destroyed my jaw joint and left mandible. I had a total jaw joint replacement and mandible replacement. It was a 9 hr surgery with 2 surgeon's. My mouth was wired shut for 3 and a half months. I still suffer from Lyme disease and was told it's late stage.

Ty for sharing!❤ I now remember the weird mind thing. I have been " sick as a dog" since April, after a tick bite. I had the bullseye rash and I seen it move through my body. I took pictures of it all and also wrote down my symptoms. I lost my appetite, I was soooo sick, tossing cookies and really sick. I've lost 15 lbs and still losing😢. Igenx is the best place to go for the best testing for true results, imo. It's not covered by insurance, which hurts, bc now I have to wait to save up the $300 or so to order the test. In September/October I realized all my symptoms and pictures are in line with Lyme disease. You are in my prayers, God Bless ❤

I got lyme play golf on Jekyll Island GA . Took 5 almost 6 years to get diagnosed. It's been a struggle ever since. I too, have brain pressure, anxiety, pain, my eyes were perfect now I can read the E at the top of the eye chart with my right eye but not with my left. I an alone a lot bc I feel so hopeless. I understand his tears. But I get up everyday, exercise, try as hard as I can. I have been bit a few other times in last several years and bullseye everytime. It is scary bc no one understands and no doctor is educated enough to help.

What test did you take to get diagnosed?

There are herbs, vitamins and supplements that can help you improve. In addition you should check for coinfections that you may not have been treated for yet.

Wow. Very traumatic Lyme presentation. Every case is different. I’m glad he didn’t get horrendous lesions like some people do.

Seems like you would have benfited from been tested by reliable labs like igenex and also for co-infections. Also 200 mg a day of doxycycline does not kill lyme it only keeps them from reproducing, you need 400 mg per day-or that was my program from a Lyme literate physician last year but they keep changing the protocols. I've had close to 30 embedded ticks so basically I'm too far gone for any help. No one even spoke of Lyme disease decades ago.

Other comments on another thread offered good suggestions for possible remedies. One suggested they drank food grade diatomaceous earth (DE) mixed in a glass of water daily. Have you tried Ivermectin? So many other suggestion! Read comments! Do your research. Try at your own risk, of course..
