Most bitcoiners don't seem to understand that expansionary monetary policy AND inflation incentivize consumption while deflation incentivizes saving. Since consumption drives growth, most macroeconomists agree that some inflation is desired (2%). Once recognizing this, there can be a conversation about the authority in charge of monetary policy.
