blows me away how disgustingly fast lynds is. Granted I only have 60 or so hours in this game, but I sat there the other day hotlapping this track for about an hour and was pretty happy with the lap I ended up with.......that lap was only 2 seconds faster than the VERY FIRST lap Lynds ran.

Good question! I use the particle modifier for the vegetation and once I make the instances real I export them and then quickly undo, that way I never have all the objects loaded into my scene for more than a minute. There were about 50k bushes on the main height map, 50k on the edge, 50k grass objects on the main height map, and 10k-ish of the greener bushes at the bottom of the canyon, but they are all split into their own particle modifiers. It does take a good 5 minutes to convert each one into real objects to export though.

@@jeffgunderson268 really interesting, but just playing around with that system and it will certainly speed up some time. Just curious, how are you masking them to not appear all over the map

@@Dr.PhDeez There is a Texture section near the bottom of the particle modifier options that lets you select textures to mask it, and then it's up to you to create the mask. For it to take affect though, you have to select "Density" under the Texture tab which you can find under the "Influence" section (the normal texture section, not the one under the particle modifier). I usually use some tools in Gaea to generate my masks but this track I also used some google earth imagery.

a good mix translates to whatever system you play it on. how else do you know for sure after you have it sounding good in a reference type listening environment? (still learning bass music producer here)

Hey Lynds, Ive been watching you for a good while now keep up the awesome content. I am also looking forward to seeing how your body reacts / takes this surgery. I’ve been looking into getting that done for a long time. My hairline is so COOKED, probably a bit worse than your was. It’s been like that since 21-22 ish. I’m 24 now. I’ve just been embracing the bald and have been shaving my head. Show some updates please! was it just a being out in public thing? The only reason I could see getting it done myself would be if I thought it was holding me back getting dates. But if I already had a mrs at home I would be highly unmotivated because they apparently already like me as is.

Not a doctor, but you might want to consider getting tested for Von Willebrand disease. It’s not a super serious thing in most cases, but it could explain why you bleed more. Could bring peace of mind.
