Actress Lyndy Brill who played Cathy Hargreaves in Grange Hill for 4 years, 1978-82, this is a list of her work,and includes rare and recent photos which her fans will love, a fellow class mate and friend from the BARBARA SPEAKE STAGE SCHOOL, this film was made to celebrate her career, and for our Film & TV Archive, with grateful thanks to The Matchstalk Men for supplying the archive footage, Chris De Burgh for the track Lady in Red, and with fond regards to Lyndy Brill, from me and on behalf of everyone from Barbara Speake's , thanks for the memories, and the roles you played so well.

Just recently watched a small cameo appearance she had in the Sweeney and from that moment my inner 12 year old schoolboy was re-awakened, bought Grange Hill 4 series she was in......I even remember getting hit off a Art teacher for arguing with a schoolmate over Cathy Hargreaves....This youg actress woke me up to girls and will never forget that.....would love to thank her one day......This is a great find and I would say thanks for the great memories Lyndy;)

Very interesting video. Regarding Lyndy's appearance on "A Song For Europe", it was in 1981. She appeared as part of a group called Unity, backing up Sue Glover; I recognised her right away! I finally found the clip on KZbin; the song is called "For Only A Day". I have been trying to find some info on a NY production of "Starlight Express" that she was in circa 1984/85. She flew out to replace the actress playing 'Pearl". If anyone knows anything about this production I would love to hear from them; it predated the Broadway version.

@Jojoseahorse: Thank you for adding the information regarding "A Song For Europe" I did manage to obtain footage of her performance on it, but it was after this video was made, I did not know she had worked on the NY Production of "Starlight Express", but here in the UK Production of it, we did have a few of our Girls from Barbara Speake's Stage School in the Show. I will see if I can find out more, as some of them may know about Lindy going to the USA, Nice to know you liked my Video, and I very much appreciate you taking the time to watch, comment, add info, and for showing interest in my fellow Professionals work, One of so many of my Stage Schools talented Pupils it has been a pleasure to know and work with on Productions. Perfectly normal boi here: I noticed that a long time ago, and they do it to a lot of other channels to, never bothers any of the creators on KZbin,I have spoken to, people will either like something or not, that is the way life is, as long as one other person has enjoyed a video, then it was worth making it for them.
