Lynette seems to be meant to be either an Anemo dps OR an Anemo burst support that can work well in mono element teams due to how her burst swirl works. So she can work well with Lyney in theory as a burst swirl support with either Noblesse or Viridescent

​​@blastzd not everyone has c6 (i find it a lot more fair to operate with a c0 asumption) and while ttds is good i always found it annoying to work into a rotation for her, but yes there have been dmg test that have shown she can be an upgrade over sucrose in that team, she's not better than sucrose but she has her place to shine, which was my point (i am ar 60 and i still dont have a c6 barbara so not even old accounts can always guarantee c6 on older 4stars, it took me till a week before i hit ar 60 to finally get a c6 xingqiu, c6 is not guaranteed)

Without C6, she’s basically only supposed to be a support that just swirls twice with sac sword, runs VV, and then uses her burst to deal off field damage. C6 lets her anemo infuse and then acts as a sub dps anemo driver. I’d say that doesn’t make her bad. She’s just a very basic, flexible anemo support. Nothing special, but nothing bad. She’s the only Ousia applier right now, so she’ll still be useful for exploration.

Lynette's burst gives priority to infusing cryo over pyro (anemo travelers the only other unit that does this) so I've had great success with her in a melt team with her brother (I know, But I can do what I want!). She makes a standard melt team far less frustrating to play since it's easier to swirl the correct element. I was never a fan of reverse melt because it almost always meant Bennet, whom I don't ever play, Xangling, an Anemo support and cryo dps to reverse melt.

i feel like i built my lynette wrong but it feels so much better imo, i built her with 4 piece viridescent with crit dps stats, turning her into a swirl applicator with her Q (her anemo ult dmg is also surprisingly strong) for the 4 piece viri but also doing some really good burst dmg with her E in rotations its like a sub dps/utility build and it works really well! i suggest yall try it

Lynette's burst works in a pretty funny way. Im not entirely sure if other anemo units get this but when Lynette's burst does that attack based on the infused element, its actually based on her % dmg of that element. It also works with shenhe if you get cryo infusion on it.

She's definitely not main dps until C6, and even then she seems to work best as an anemo driver instead of a straight damage dealer herself. Her burst is her main utility for constant swirl, a bit of off field damage, and the attack boost her passive gives. Slap sac or fav sword on her for energy, give her 4 piece vv, and she's a decent anemo support unit. Although her passive encourages up to 4 different elements, she does fine in mono pyro with Lyney. That's still a 12% attack bonus every time she bursts and her vivid shots and swirls from burst can help with constant pyro application. She's not as good as Kazuha or Sucrose, but she's decent for a free unit. Plus she's the only one who does Ousia damage rn

A little mnemonic for the boss I go with is: she (Coppelia) drops her (Lynette's) stuff, and he (Coppelius) drops his (Freminet's) stuff. As for Lynette, I kinda don't really know what to do with her either. What would make the most sense to me is her being mostly an off field sub-dps with a small side dish of support that you swap in quickly for her E and her burst. Her E is a quick high dmg anemo attack, and her burst gives a bit of a buff, taunts, and attacks. Both her E and burst can also shred when using 4 piece vv. This would also be the only synergy she could have with Lyney. Giving him a bit of pyro dmg buff with her E/burst when swirling with vv.

Her whole kit just revolves around her burst, specifically the taunt in her burst. Testing her for dmg is kind of a waste of time since she's not gonna do much. And if you already have her C4, the new fishing weapon is good for her if you only have 1 sacrificial sword and it's being used by another character.

She is still anemo so she can be used in team where sucrose or kazuha work using VV set. Her utility isn't great even with C1 her grouping is basically non existent. She works in many teams but unless you really like Lynette you are better off using Kazuha, Sucrose or Venti, wich is not surprising but Idk I expected a bit more from her, Idk why Hoyo refuse to make units that even if they aren't as good as the trio of Anemo at least the difference wouldn't be that massive.

I use her on my Navia team. Navia, Kaeya, Lynette, and Bennett I felt comfortable with. I saw a lot of potential on working on her speed compared to when I was using Sayu. The EM works well and the burst is a taunt ability like Mona's to me. I find using Bennett and Kaeya to swirl the elements is great. I had a couple of chuckles when taking down enemies like that. I have a hard time with the shadow tag thing, though.

Hyperblooam and Burgeon scales off Elemental Mastery of the characters triggering them,so if your anemo unit is triggering them you need EM built on them but Lynette doesn't benefit from EM the same way Kazuha/Sucrose does, so it's a waste. She's only suited for mono teams because her elemental application from her burst is low and the other reason I mentioned.

Greek person here, just wanted to help clarify the whole ousia - pneuma thing. So ousia is pronounced like usia (the "u" like in "ooh") and pneuma is pronounced like pnevma. Tbh I expected to come across greek words in Enkanomiya rather than Fontaine so this really came out of left field lol. I honestly acknowledge that there is a large gap between whales and free to play, therefore enemies should never be adjusted to cater towards the whales only because f2ps can never get those big numbers. however, there shouldn’t be as large as a gap between meta players and casual players. i’m sorry, i’m all for genshin being casual and not as challenging, (except for maybe certain modes that are clearly made to be challenging like the spiral abyss), but the fact that overworld monsters, bosses and even weekly bosses are so weak is simply because there are casual players that never really bothered building their characters. i don’t care if you’re building it right or wrong, but at least build them so that they’re actually, usable. i understand that what i want here will basically significantly dwindle down genshin’s playerbase because alot of people plays the game simply to collect fun cute characters and to just take part in the beautiful journey and story, and dont enjoy the dreadful farming and character building aspect of the game. tldr; basically “forcing” casual players to do some farming so that the gap between casual players and meta players are lessened a little, so that the enemies and bosses can be a little bit more challenging, but it might just make them quit the game instead.

I've been running the following team and really liking it, especially in the overworld: - Lyney, 4pc Marechausse, First Great Magic - Dehya, 4pc Vorukasha HP build, Beacon - Bennett, 4pc Noblesse, Aquila Favonia - Lynette, 4pc VV (ER sands), R5 Favonius Sword Lynette has about 230% ER which is insane, but it allows her to burst every time she takes the field. Rotation: Dehya skill x2, Lynette skill x2, Lynette burst, Bennett burst, Lyney CA x3, Lyney Burst, Lyney skill. I do Bennett's burst just at the edge of the ring of Dehya's skill field and position Lyney there to get the interruption reduction, healing, and attack buffs while keeping a little distance from the enemy. The taunts from Lyney's cat and Lynette's cat actually do a great job distracting the enemy and doing passive damage while Lyney deals charged shots. I haven't tried this in Abyss and I am very scared to do so considering how squishy Lyney is. However, it's been the best for exploring Fontaine as I can easily mine ores with Dehya and take advantage of her increased walking speed during the day.

lynettes kit is about as straight forward as it can get you just ended up over complicating it Shes a sub dps/support pre c6 mostly used for her taunt, ER generation, and swirl when on VV she does NOT want full EM cause its not worth it she has nothing in her kit regarding EM like Kazuha or Sucrose and the dmg is just flat out worse than a crit build C6 is when she can be used as a main dps or driver cause of her infusion itll still be worse than something like Sucrose or Wanderer but still an ok substitute shes just a standard off field crit scaling 4 star that give slight attack increase and a taunt idk what there isnt to get here💀

My lynette has 2k atk and has 106 recharge which isn't a problem because it takes at least 4 tries to get her burst ready but since i got lyney that ain't the problem

I found her as a sucrose alternative for teams that don't utilize suvroses em and would benefit more from the stack boost.

From my experiences big numbers aren't her strong suit but in my team she works better than Sucrose. I use Hutao, Yelan, Lynnete and Zhongli. Yelan E then Q, then I switch to Lynette with 4pc noblesse oblige and 200% Er to do her E then Q. It swirls the hydro and from my experiences it's better than my double hydro Hutao team.

Reasons for raising/building Lynette: 1. I ended up with C4 while wishing on Yelan. 2. Have stupid amounts of resources available. 3. She's cute.

My favorite team for her is: 1. Lynette 2. Barbara (with Thrilling Tales) 3. Kaeya 4. Xiangling It's completely free to play and allows for several strong reactions. Lynette's swirl makes up for Barbara's weak hydro application.

Not really, it's always been rng at the highest level between getting 2 and 3.

I think because she's a free unit she needs to be somehow flexible to fit in with a lot of team.
