Lynk & Co Z10: China's Sexiest EV Sedan

This review was filmed before we learned that Zeekr would be buying out Volvo's shares of the Lynk & Co brand, giving them a 51% stake in L&C, with the remaining 49% going to Geely Auto (the mother company for all three brands). It's important to point out that I haven't heard any news saying that L&C will disappear or that they will merge with Zeekr to become a new brand, at least for now. I do think that this will ultimately happen, because even Geely admits that the two brands have too much overlap (as I discuss in this video!), and are competing with each other unnecessarily. The whole thing just seems like a way to shuffle money around Geely Group, including getting some emergency funding to Volvo and Polestar, both of which could really use it right now. It also indicates a much needed consolidation, because as I've stated multiple times, Geely has TOO MANY BRANDS.

I think the Chinese auto market would benefit greatly from more of this. There are too many brands, period! Which is deeply confusing for the average consumer. Hell, even those of us who subscribe to channels like yours struggle to keep up! Another great review btw.....always enjoyable.

Even some brands arefrom the same company, they willcompete with each other and offer lowerprice to sell more cars (just like Zeeker007 vs L&C Z10 vs Robocar 07)

My front left is Brigdestone, right is Linglong and rear left is Hankook and right rear is some another unknown Chinese brand. Man the grip is amazingly ......crazy.

I'd like to see some mid-size sedans or hot hatches. These E-class sedans are too big for european cities. BYD Seal is the only one we've got so far. Some kind of 2+2 seater sport coupe would be nice too.
