Seriously though to simplify what hes saying, you can produce 3 types of ball flights on those short shots he was demonstrating, 1. low with hookspin(left wrist rolled over) 2. Square, medium flight and roll 3. High soft shot(back of left wrist facing the sky in follow through, so essentially your controlling the ball flight with the amount of left forearm/wrist rotation.

First three minutes are swinging (left arm passively dragging the clubhead); then switching to hitting where the right arm drives the shot. Always they emphasize a flat left/bent right wrist alignment. And, then add 3 varying degrees of closing the club head through impact ("hinge action" = intentionally rolling the face or holding off the face closure) So, two methods (swing or hit) each with three hinge actions.

For the short irons it works ( straight shots) but you loose distance with the driver but it's always straight .

In Summary, just use the roll when your not rolling then add some roll to the other roll to get a little more roll, but avoid over rolling and under rolling just use more roll whenever you need less roll to ensure your have enough roll, or alternatively you could just hit it.

Obviosly amazing golf coversation. Let me please ask you following: so why do some people talk "delay straigtening right arm so that you have lag etc"...So, are you saying that as soon as the downswing starts the straigtening of right elbow is fine...? ".. Thank you

@TheRealOzzie234 I agree, about the hinging being a plague..but whenever i use the no-roll swing on full shots, i always end up fading the ball!! DOH!!!

I have no clue what they are talking about, is there some dummy version?

@1DCCX Thanks for the explanation, the last one to swing the arms like a closing door, does that happen because the the torso does not rotate to target and provides a base to hinge on?

Does the vertical hinge chip in a basic motion produce a shot that goes slightly to the right? In other words, should you set the target line open to the stance line?

Did you figure that out yet? Lynn said a no-roll feel creates a half roll. I think that is less true as we accelerate harder for the full swing. Should we just close the face more, the harder we swing?
