The bridge image was well worth waiting for and what a disappointment to have your holidays cancelled, I know the feeling well I would now be preparing for the start of my winter breaks in Spain, then it would be Eire, and in between several visits to Blackpool, and yes all cancelled and we are having to prepare for a long winter at home! Personally I have been taking pictures in my local area. Back to you, that was a lovely little village you took us to, and as I said you got a great image there, well done and Thank You for sharing your photography with us!

Hope you had a great time in Scotland. That image of Carrbridge is amazing, I can remember standing in that very same place nearly 3 years ago, no rain that day but snow and ice. Keeping my fingers crossed the lockdowns are lifted at the year end so I can visit again in January.

Shame you missed out on the Canada trip and we were meant to be in Fort William for a week last May but had to bin it due to the C word. I always LOL when you hear and now to the 'long range' weather forecast, when they cannot even get the next days forecast correct. Shame the rain did not stop for you but it did not stop you from getting a glorious shot of the bridge, cheers Alan

Yup....it came up pretty well ....the image I posted was one of several I managed to get before the rain came in again 👍 The phone I video with is a bit of a pain for over exposing the backgrounds 😔

Stunning as per usual! Would love to see a video of how you edited that last image...as I have no lightroom experience whatsoever. Canada's loss was Scotland's gain but know how you're feeling having my trip to the States crippled earlier this year. Fingers crossed you will get to travel there next year Lynne. Think you are right about the current situation, we seem to be sliding back towards more restrictions. Although I have seen images of the bridge before never realised just how accessible it was until your vlog. Also think your image was one of the best I have seen as the colours and composition was stunning

Boy, its more years than I care to remember since I was in the Cairngorms but I do remember that it was a fantastic place. I think the portrait shot works best for me at the first location. That final bridge shot is fabulous, really well done. May not be Canada but I hope that you had a great time nonetheless. Cheers.

I seem to be in the minority, sorry to say I think that last image was totally false. The colours and that bright blue sky were nothing like the scene on the day. I do apreciate that we all tinker in Lightroom etc. but I felt this was totally over the top

No problem at all Phil, every opinion welcomed. Unfortunately you weren't there that day so have no idea of the conditions ,the sky varied from vivid blue to deepest grey as the rain pushed through ,the sunlight made the autumnal colors pop & the water really was that mucky brown ... Yes, I have edited it but not to the degree you're implying as the exposure for the sky was rather tricky . Thanks for watching though 👍
