There's something about that girl that was just so sensual , her looks her voice was as beautiful as it gets, it's hard to believe such a ball of niceness is gone but heaven is a luckier place.

I remember Storm in a teacup coming out when I was at Junior School and really liking it. I never realised until now that Lynsey was the author. What a talented lady.

Such a stylishly feminine, very intelligent and obviously accomplished lady. In this wonderful little programme she proves the old saying that true beauty comes from within. May she rest in peace.

Can you believe that story about her ever being plain? She was such a pretty lady with a very sweet singing voice....love the song and I really liked Lynsey as she had a very kind heart towards animals.......Anyone who loves animals and cares for them is ok in my book
Wow, thank you so much for uploading this. I adore LDP and can’t believe she’s no longer with us. But what a legacy she left. Magnificent.

Drives me back to teen age memories. I was on holidays in Windsor and so happy to buy her 1st LP! Should have won the ESC in 1977. With gratitude to your work, dear Lynsey. Thanks from Luxembourg.

I used to walk past that little Victorian estate at the bottom of Highgate every day after school in the 1970s. Sometimes I'd peer in through the hedge and occasionally I'd see Lynsay sitting outside here house reading something.

Swains Lane, reputedly a haunted gothic house but she never worried about its reputation. A wonderful talented artist.

Lynsey would have made a great companion on Doctor Who (the real series, not the reboot) in the 70s and 80s. I could see her as a charming and elegant companion alongside Jon Pertwee. A somewhat whimsical and comical companion alongside Tom Baker. A take charge and caring companion alongside Peter Davidson. A steady and reliable companion alongside Colin Baker. A free-spirited yet determined companion alongside Sylvester McCoy.

Very talented singer songwriter and very pretty, i liked her chart songs in the early 70's and i had a crush on her when i was about 10 or 12 ( In 1972-74) My sister Marie died of brain hemorrhage aged 36 in 1990 like Lynsey did ----------------- Lynsey de Paul was never married, but was known for being in relationships with Ringo Starr, Roy Wood, James Coburn, Sean Connery, Bill Kenwright, Bernie Taupin, Chas Chandler and Dudley Moore. Lynsey suffered a brain hemorrhage on the morning of the 1st October 2014, She died in a London hospital hours later, aged 66. ---------- The Guardian Author Bob Stanley came out with a wonderful great and fitting quote when he paid tribute to Lynsey de Paul when she died, he said, 'She stood out like a cut-glass decanter among milk bottles'' 👍 😁 👍

The rat story at 26:30 is hilarious and adorable and gives you an idea about how nutty Ms. De Paul could be. I love this TV show. Lots of great LDP tidbits.
