These machines are incredible, greetings from Argentina.

Hello DN Solutions, please can you explain me why you need 24 tool index (half) when you have a Y-axis. 😉 Probably cost a lot more but the multi toolholders on a 12 station with "only" Y-axis do the same job. 🤔 You have only 12 driven live tools just like the "normal" turret, I don't see the benefit.

the product undergoes 2 different machining processes 3:40 where workpiece is transferred to the other spindle. The benefit is you don't have to make another set up and unload the material to machine the other side , which in this case 12 index is barely capable due to proximity in cutting tool installation and the space needed to fit all the tools and tool holders in the 12 index. This type of machine design reduces a lot of time in set up especially that involves tiresome calculations on work designs and it can only be done easily by a two-way 24 tool turret

@@jomeldelossantos7803 A 24 half-index turret has nothing to do with a subspindle machine, a normal 12 station indexes 30°, a 24 station 15° so you can mount double tools on 1 toolholder = 1 station, these are designed that 1 tool is on centre-height the other in a 15° angle. There are parallel (double) toolholders that do the same job only you have to use the Y-axis in plus/minus direction for centre-height. You can buy them also with 4 tools on 1 holder/station, 2 on main spindle 2 on sub. The only thing I could think about is maybe some more clearance for the half-index.

This is a turning and milling center, not just a turning center.
