It's really sad to see Lynx Air gone so soon. A few years ago, one of my grandmas came over here to Vancouver. Hadn't seen her in a really long time. She flew on Lynx Air, and kept talking about how friendly their crew were. That was such a precious moment, and I remember hearing her exact words. I've loved Lynx ever since. The paw prints on some of their planes, the friendly crew, the overall vibe, everything. It's just so sad to see Lynx Air retiring already. If only there was an airline as good as them. R.I.P. Lynx Air, you will forever be remembered. Thank you, Alex, for making this video for us to see the beauty of Lynx one more time.

Also in the Calgary Airport letter: These fees include landing, terminal, bridge, preclearance and other usage fees. These fees, in aggregate, typically cost over $5,000 each time one of Lynx’s Max 8 aircraft takes off and lands at the airport. The Apron Usage Fee of $117.70 per day is an incidental in these circumstances, and is only commercially defensible in the context of normal operations.

This will be quick. Lynx had discussions prior to CCAA fililng on Feb 22 with some potential buyers. The Cape Town Convention will make the SISP (sale of all assets) quick and the 2 main components are the existing contract to buy remaining 31 aircraft from Boeing at "good" price, as well as the existing leases. (in the past, an airline could keep planes and negotiate down the price of leases during CCAA/Chapter 11 and then sell those leases (whcih si what Air Canada had done) but this time around, the CTC means they have 60 days to sell the leases or return aircraft. By April 12 , the SISP of aircraft and leases should be done.

Calgary Airport letter included in Monitor report with this jsutification for the $2000 parking fee instead of the contract for $117. : -“Aeronautical Charges” is defined as “means the aggregate of the following charges applicable to Lynx Movements: Apron Usage Fees, CUTE Fees, General Terminal Fees, Landing Fees, Loading Bridge Fees, and Preclearance Fees; with all such charges being charged and payable at the applicable rates described in the version of the Tariff in effect at the date such charges are incurred” (Section 1.1(1)). -“Lynx Movements” is defined as “means movements of aircraft landing at the Airport, which aircraft are operated by a Lynx Party, provided Lynx Movements shall not include any Charter Flights.” (Section 1.1(33)). While the definition of “Aeronautical Charges” includes “Apron Usage Fees” (as you mention in your letter), that inclusion does not entitle Lynx to store aircraft on the Airport apron while Lynx is not operating.
