A delightfully warm rendition of a wonderfully rich song by a talented Canadian. My wife and I had the pleasure of seeing Katie live in Vancouver, B. C. some 10 or (more?) years ago at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre (The Cultch) a small and intimate venue. Great evening, thanks to our kids who knew her music moved us and got us the tickets. Thanks kids. Very fond memories.

This time I prefer the cover to the original. Although the lyrics are very personal, to me parts of the original sound emotionless and somewhat bored. In fact, the cover sounds more as if Katie´s written the lyrics herself, cause she sings as if those words mean a lot to her, as if those words were her own (apart from the fact she has a better voice and no problems at all when it comes to hitting the difficult notes).

The Bueatifully sung song, but the skirt of Ms Melua could be a bit longer. Maybe 25 cms. In my opinion she doesn't need to uncover herself that much, as she sings beutifully and her song become more and more adult. From I kill you to hope for very experienced with very unplesent cases people. From songs for teenagers to songs for mature people. From hidden hatered to exposed love. Bravo, good work.

You are partially right. Nevertheless, she is 28 and she should be a bit more serious in dressing herslef. She doesn't need to stress her sex appeal. Her songs are very deap with respect to content. That is why she doesn't need to uncover herself. Bare legs, in my opinion, don't give mystery to her image; just the opposite. For older people she might be considered as a big child, that is why Royal Albert Hall (probably) deserves more formal dress. Her legs are very slim and look terrible.
