COSMOFLORA - Cosmic Existence & Interconnectedness
The concept COSMOFLORA approaches an artistic, philosophical,
and metaphorically rich narrative only suitable for a strong
and historical building such as the Cathedral Saint Jean Baptiste.
The COSMOFLORA is a type of vegetation born in outer space,
specifically where the universe has its origins: the stars.
Like all living things, the COSMOFLORA has its life cycle: the birth at the stars,
the evolution and growth inside of the nebulas, the bloom into outer space,
and finally the decay going back to stardust.
The COSMOFLORA is a metaphorical depiction of human beings,
we decided to show how brief, beautiful and delicate is the nature of life.
Divided into 5 acts, this show is a high-concept journey that travels
through different universes and realities whilst bending
and combining diverse cultural aspects such as architecture, art, ideologies, and lifestyles.
