I really like when you spend time showing how to trace the problem on the schematic then actually go find the wires and switches and show the problem and correct it. Videos like this are invaluable to me. Schematics are my kryptonite. Again, thanks for what you do!!

Love how you go thru and explain how to read the electric wiring prints. I was a pinball tech back in the late 70's for a small family run shop that we had the contract for the collage . Leaned a lot about em machines and then some of the newer PC drive for the lastest machines. We had one of the 1st laser disc for the arcade video games. So glad that I found your feed about saving the old and newer machines. Keep up the good work. Steve Greene from WI.

Love the troubleshooting! I only dabble in EM's but the more I get comfortable reading the schematics the less intimidating they are.

Once you kind of 'get it' they make so much sense. Very logical operation on them and it makes them really easy to fix once you kind of have your 'ah hah' moment with the schematics.

My first and only EM I owned. I discovered how to burn up the ball save solenoid when I pushed in a fuse that was on the board near a fuse holder w/o first checking if it was the right fuse. Lesson learned.

Howdy Ron. Thanks again for all the information and inspiration. I've posted a couple comments previously, and have great news. I have my 1971 Gottlieb "Home Run" add-a-ball up and running 100% coin mech and all. One more machine brought back to life and and demonstrating the magic of the old EMs. I could not have (and probably would not have) taken on the challenge without your documentation on y-tube. For fellow viewers, if you're somewhat smarter than a box of rocks you can do it too! *ding *click *chime. :)

Believe it or not, somebody dropped off a home run yesterday to be repaired! I’ll film videos of it but it’ll be a couple months it has a really bad repaint job….

@@LyonsArcade That's interesting. Mine has an odd re-paint on the cabinet too. The shape of the graphics are correct but all white areas are painted an apple green and the entire thing brush painted. Lost brothers?

I just pick a stardust up today and it needs a good cleaning I know but wanted to see if it would work it powers up but the player 1&2 and 3&4 relays keep going and wont stop Just wondering if you might know where I need to check out to maybe get them to stop

Hey Joe it's Randy I need your help I'm on the last end of this game I'm trying to put new coin switches in it micro switches they didn't have anything they were chopped I got the schematic it's only three wires hooked up to the switches what I understand but I can't understand how to hook the wires where everything I try and not starting the game it'll add a credit but it won't start the game

Is there any way you can help me to let me know which color wires go where I got to coin shoots but I wanted to I'm using 25 cent Mech on both so even though the one is probably set for $0.05 it'll still think it's a quarter when it passes the switch

Ok I up loaded two videos it's a 3-wire switch changing it from leaf switch on there when did I guess they were mangled they weren't on there what to put micro switches two micro switches
