Lypertek PurePlay Z5 vs Sony WF1000-XM4 True Wireless Shootout

Do Z5's suffer from a lot of background noise (anc/ambient off) such as static with data bleeps? Had this problem with mine but not with another brand.

TBH, I find it fascinating how much tuning can do for or against headphones. I find WF1000XM4 as OK sounding, but with default "Sony tuning" they sound noticeable worse than WF-1000MX3. Would be incredible if manufacturers would take the time to provide a flat, balanced EQ for every headphone they make, and let you destroy the sound signature they way you like it :) Coming from the spoiled perspective of "Oluv tuned" Anker Q30, I am not certain it's the right path for everyone, but I really do like it.

It's true, a lot of earphones come with a very consumer friendly tuning, Lypertek include lots of EQ presets that actually work, including a "neutral" one - but they sound awesome out of the box already whereas the Sony don't sound as good and need a lot of tweaking.

Hii, does anker q30 does active noise canceling from outside noise for absolute silence?

@@fadelfarinsqi4304 They do have ANC, but the effectivity is nowhere near Sony level. I would treat them as good headphones, slight ANC is just a tiny bonus. Would be nice to get my hands on the latest Anker model they recently released, but TBH I could not be bothered to test it - not in mood or having a time right now.

I like these kind of reviews. Will you be reviewing ANY headphones that have a newer model but are not necessarily a good buy? Or vice versa? I, also, have eat tip issues. Any after market tips or there that you recommend? Maybe a video on that?

How does the Sony compare to final audio.

Sony is smoother, Final is cleaner sounding - Sony is maybe a little more refined and has more features.
