My friend contracted with Cleer as a short-term junior industrial designer for their products. Cleer's made huge strides to compete with Sony and other large companies (who some of the employees have work experience with) with stepping up their visual presentation; their biggest draw has always been the over the ear headphones and the drivers they have engineered for them. I am happy to see their earbuds improve since 5 years ago. Great review, HiFi crew.

I have Jaybirds that have those cone shape tips and they simply don’t work well. I had to buy different tips for them as well. Amazon usually has some tips that may fit or try complyfoam tips they always seal well if you can deal with foam tips.

Check out the people behind Cleer - they all come from big companies with a background in this tech. Don't rule them out :D

TBH, I take Sony brand as a con when picking up a pair of headphones :D When you compare Sony to AudioTechnica, Sennheiser and many more "younger" brands, you rarely see Sony offerings as better in terms of sound quality, build quality or even price. @HiFi Headphones I had no clue something like Cleer Ally Plus 2 even existed, thanks!
