Lyric Graffiti X - Tuning for even more POWER

I think Lyric is already pushing that 16S 8P Samsung 50E battery to the limits of the cells- 80A continuous, 118A peak. Besides the battery, seems like a high-speed / low torque motor wind. The slower acceleration is potentially a characteristic of the motor. I'm not sure if upgrading the battery for less sag would make a significant difference, it may also require upgrading the controller for more phase amps. Which becomes an expensive project to get this Graffiti X accelerating faster...

I was going to say this. If the battery was built with a 200A continuous. It be a beast. Since the bac2000 can already handle 200A it don't need upgrade. The motor is probably a 3T motor. Swap for a 5T and it will have insane amount of torque like a mid drive motor. Im sure Jonathon already knows this since he has a built super73. Im running a 20s 4p molicel p45b with a 5T motor and it is ridiculous. Fast and silent at 200A. I would have to tune it down to 80A to ride it normally.

I modified my Sabvoton controller 72V NBPower kit for my X-Class and saw sparks coming out the back. My bike cut off, and I haven't touched it in six months. It was a fun, quick ride. I felt like Ghost Rider.

How did you do that? Sabvoton won’t let you go over amperage in the settings.

My replacement controller came. Had to drill my own mounting hole and it’s still not working correctly. Atlesst the display and wiring harness are fine now. Pretty sure left side is Eco and right side is Sport. Percentage of the max power at that speed. And yeah Pedal is going to put 100% in sport at 0 if you pedal that’s probably why they didn’t make it so aggressive. I’ll probably unplug my PAS if I can.

Hey buddy I will bet If you get a better battery like a Powerful lithium battery then that bike will shine. With that battery your basically getting a 52v bike if your losing 10v from sag. So with no sag you will have so much more power. Hope to see you do that and show everyone the real potential of that bike with a real battery. People think them Samsung 50e cells are good and they are ok if your only pulling like 30a with your controller. They can not handle real power. Great video keep them coming boss

i keep telling that to people who want the new extreme bull k6 since they changed from 40t to 50e cells. yeah its about 9v on the 80-100% power 0-20mph. i already hit up powerful lithium but i cant hold on to these bikes forever so if it takes months to figure out and another month for it to be made. might be to late. we will see tho!

@@MrCentralDriver oh ok I thought you planned on keeping that bike. I bet you would change your mind with a good battery on it. I don't know why any Ebike company that has a high power Ebike coming out why use low power cells. Defeats the purpose in my 👀s. Keep it and be the first with making it perfect because that's all it's missing.

Totally agree, it's crazy that such a capable E-bike has a battery built from 'yesterdays' cells - the 18650's aren't what should've been used when making a battery for this bike, Molicell would've been a much better choice (...in my opinion) 👍​@@oldmanebikes8392

@MrCentralDriver Yeah, must feel soooo much better as it's a rocket from 15mph onwards, but the previously sluggish off the line speed is what really let's an otherwise fantastic E-bike down. My KZbinr buddy "IMBruceECLECTIC" tells me that Lyric are currently working on a controller, and software update to rectify this problem... Really needs a battery improvement too, as I can only think they are using the 18650 cells to save a few quid.. Same goes for the brilliant company Sparkcycleworks also uses the 18650's in their battery packs. I know if I had the money to buy a Graffiti X, well I'd also be wanting a Powerful Lithium pack for it - A powerful performance machine deffo needs a powerful, longer range battery pack for sure 🚲⚡👍

My experience with this style of jailbreaking stock settings and then just doing trial and error is that you can easily brick your firmware and break components

Tbh I rather get the Rev1 HT with the dual battery setup than buying the lyric bike or even buy a wired freedom ebike 60volts

Have you ever had a throttle die on an ebike?, my new one I got the other week my throttle has just decided to crap out randomly, either doesn’t work at all or thinks I’m twisting it when I’m not. I am stuck riding it on pedal assist only until they send me a new throttle lol. I will add this is only after 140 miles which isn’t great.
