ECribz had this. He started out strong in the first verse, almost choked though. We caught that. But Smif was being too intricate. Sometimes you just want to enjoy the flow and not have it rewound again and again. It was a good battle though.

Bars without delivery is like praying without faith...it falls on deaf ears. Smif was clearly the better lyricist, with much more intricate and complex schemes but Cribz had better delivery and was more relatable. Even though technically the battle is supposed to be about who has better bars or is the better lyricist, making the crowd catch and feel what you're saying is what edges you in close contests. Like Cribz saying "this is Africa...hacksaws and machetes", that exhibits originality and gives the crowd something to relate to. Cribz was more or less choking at certain points, those pauses were obviously an effort for him to gather his thoughts. Smif has bars but terrible delivery, period! I guess both rappers are not pro when it comes to rap battles. hence, they really tired. Ecribz's attitude and aggression was super. He makes you feel like "yeah I'm watching a real battle". However, he wasn't fluent with his flows. Seems he was trying to remember his lyrics throughout the whole battle. Even in the 3rd round I think he ended his verse cos he forgot his remaining bars. His lines are neat, but he didn't have so many good haymakers. Some of them are basic bars that don't deserve all the cheers. Among all the rounds, I think he won the 2nd. On to Mr Smif, WOW! First time watching it I asked myself so we got such a dude in Ghana? Smif had his game on lock. His bars are nerd-like bars which you have to get time to decipher. At some point I had to keep repeating to fully decipher some of em. Dude just got nerd-like bars that'll go over heads anytime. Converesly, his performance/attitude wasn't impressive. And the part that made him look like a loser & jerk is when he kept explaining himself. That was so unpardonable. The crowd on the other hand really dey bore. They went to cheer Ecribz, not to watch a battle. It could be seen clearly that some of the bars didn't deserve all em cheers. Also, they couldn't catch many schemes. They both got potential...Ecribz sounds more standard but he be pausing too often...and the nigga Smif tryna do too much with the schemes but he showed he really can spit off the top...But got damn not even Chilla or Conceited does that...nigga b tryna slow everything down and it gets monotonous...if thas how "slow it down " was repeated shit wouldn't have become popular...On another note,I understand most of the crowd don't catch their barz cus they probably are not used to some the cultural terms these two niggas referring to, shit be goin over therir heads...When Ecribz spit bout "boo Joe buddens" for example, referring to total slaughter event, the crowd had no idea....but overall i think it's a good beginning for Ghana Battle rap scene though it's in its infacny... I'm surprise tho, cus I didn't know niggas Ghana are hip to shit like that....I gave the dubb to Ecribz tho...

I think E Cribz won. In my opinion in battle rap u gotta get the crowd excited. Too much intricacy cost Mr. Smif the battle. He had to explain each and every line. Also Cribz was more aggressive.
