*OPEN ME* *Translator’s note* 0:18 The previous line ends off with “还” (eng trans: still) and then this continues with “还在”. On its own “还在” would mean “still present/there/existing”, as translated. Lyrically though, Jun continues it with the next few lines “在不安/在期待/烦恼” and while the next few lines do not have the “still” in them, the meaning is carried over, hence the choice to translate it as “(still)”. 0:50 / 1:53 1st interpretation: 看开 - in Chinese, when one says to “看开一点”, it means to “take it easy/don’t take things too seriously”. However, taking it literally, 看开 means to “look away”. It could be a wordplay done by Jun and in context, I suppose Jun means to say, “not to avoid, but to just let go”. 2nd interpretation: 不需去看开 应该去放开 = There’s no need to see things in a new light, just learn to let them go 0:56 / 2:00 烦琐 - is an adjective used to describe trivial, complicated and complex details, but to summarize in context, “troublesome” was used. It possibly connotes the sense of worry and all the messy thoughts when one worries. 1:37 Literal translation of “心难开” is “making your heart difficult to open”. However, it is also potentially a word pun on “开心” meaning “happy”, but also a literal translation of “opening (your) heart”. Hence when your heart is difficult to open, literally on word surface, you’re making it difficult for yourself to be happy. i cried listening because hearing junhui say "i understand" really hit me. the entirety of this song and it's reference to flowers was so incredibly beautiful and poetic especially to a native chinese speaker. it's hard to fully translate the lyrics in this song but trust me when i say it was beautiful. hearing this song for the first time when he performed really did leave such a huge impact on me

As a native Chinese speaker, I’m very impressed by Jun’s lyrics. They are so poetic and the use of some verbs conveys layers of meanings. The ending of each sentence also rhymes and flows very well. The second verse is a good example that each sentence ends with vow “ai”. This is actually quite hard to achieve without making the lyrics sounds forced to complete the rhyme. Hope we can have more of his lyrics in the future!

besides the fact he needs more lines the lyrics are so beautiful while thanks is passionate song expressing their thanks this is a soft song and junhui’s only message is that he’s there for us he’s our hard shoulder to lean on. and the part that hit me the most is the low “i am still here”at the end almost as if written for someone who’s been struggling for a long time, they might feel that no one is by their side anymore bc it’s gone on for so long but he’s “still here” that really hit me. as someone out of countless others who’s suffering from depression it’s amazing to think something as simple as music could be my cure. junhui is truly a sweetheart.

Jun's talent in writing has been sleeping since he's in a Korean group that sings Korean songs. The language barrier prevented him from showing his talent. Jun is incredible when writing lyrics. He's so talented. I love him so much

The first time I heard this when he performed it I already felt the strong emotion from him and knowing what the lyrics meant made it more painful and hits me right through my bone. His lyrics are so pure as him. The way he sang “I understand” made me emotional while listening to it. Like I swear he made me listen to svt. His version is so emotional yet chill.
