Most people have had an issue with that primer. I bought the foundation without the primer. I like the natural satin finish it gives and i bought the setting powder and one blush in empower. i applaud the brand for its mission and vision. I will likely wear the product in spring and summer. thanks for sharing your experience with these products

The foundation is best without the primer..typically when brands release primer with a foundation it’s formulated to work together...EVERYONE I know that wore it together had a problem. It separates & gives a lot of patchy spots.

I'm obsessed with the blushes! I have Self Love and Confident. They're so beautiful! I wasn't crazy about the bronzer though. I wish I thought to get the darkest setting powder and use that as a bronzer. That's so smart!

Thank you for your thorough review. I picked up TN6 in the foundation and you and I are shade twins. It's a bit light so I'm going to try TG7 because it worked well for me over my skincare and sunscreen.I'm sorry it didn't work for you. I got the foundation, bronzer and translucent powder after it was available in Sephora so I was able to find my correct shade match. I used a different primer when I applied the foundation so I didn’t see any texture or pores. It the brand contact you with your correct shade, I would give it another try. However, we can’t all use the same products so if it doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work 🤷🏾‍♀️.

This was SUPER helpful! I think the foundation would be the type that I like, but not in the warm weather and with perspiring in a mask. I was most curious about the powder, b/c at first glance, I too thought there wasn't a great shade for medium dark skin. But your demo really helped me see how they work on our shade range. I have dry to normal skin and I find the foundation looks great after I set it with the powder. I love the blushes. Those are my favourite. Great in-depth review. Oh yes I like the dark bronzer on you the best. Looks amazing

I love the foundation but I used the tatcha primer with it. I love that it’s lightweight and buildable. And my coworker stated that it looked like I wasn’t wearing any foundation. Now you got me thinking whether that was a compliment or not...lol

Great video and review!! Based on other reviews I saw.. it was the primer! A few other influencers I follow had the same reaction to the primer.. like it was piling up on their skin but when they tried the foundation with another primer or what they normally use , it was a better outcome. I think I may try the bronzer and setting powder 🤔🤞🏾

I'm 47 and I have normal to dry/dehydrated skin and I really love this foundation. It's so nourishing that you can see it plumping my skin and smoothing lines. Because of the plumping, my pores look slightly better. It stays pretty satin all day without powder. I'd image with all those oils in the ingredient deck, it's not really the best for combination to oily skin. I have yet to find a foundation that's good for all skin types and I wish brands would stop pretending that their foundation is the magical unicorn.

I get really annoyed when brands tout being "SLS free" when talking about cosmetics. SLS is a surfactant and would only be present in a skin or hair care product. Also, why put citrus extracts in a primer?

I had the same experience with the primer, it made my skin look so bad. I thought I was the only one that thought that the foundation made my pores more obvious. I luckily picked the perfect shade so I will still wear it when I want thinner coverage or try it with a pore filling primer but it definitely won’t be my go to. I like the blush and bronzer the most. The setting powder is nice and I prefer using it with a more firm large powder brush.

As always very informative review. I did buy the foundation and you’re right on the color match. I got one that is too dark TN6. Then I got TN3 which match me perfectly. I need to exchange TN6 for TG5 for summer. I do have dry skin and the tn3 worked best for me. I like the light feel on my face. I did not have any issues. I couldn’t get the blushes because they’re sold out. I got the finishing powders in resilience and brilliance,love them. One bronzer in motivate, love it too. So far these work for me. I didn’t hear good reviews on the primer so I skipped on that. So sorry to hear the foundation didn’t work out and I know you tried to give it a chance however if it didn’t work for your skin at least we can rely on your honest opinion. Again thanks Tina.

Definitely, a brand to keep on the radar in my opinion. The shade range for their foundation alone for a new brand is pretty spectacular. Thank you for the amazingly thorough review! Just have to flag for anyone interested, that a clean BOMB has been around a long time (Plain Jane Beauty). PJB has a light coverage liquid foundation with a natural matte finish. I love it and I have oily sensitive skin. The base shades at PJB are all positive traits too (like "I am Elegant").

The fact that their brush, primer, and foundation seem to not be made for each other is so strange. I picked up the blush and foundation and like the blush, haven't tried the foundation because when I went to look up reviews (have a bad habit of buying before checking), i seen that it had avacodo oil and that makes me nervous. Its like a 3 on a 1-5 scale (5 being the worst), and its in all their products. The blush didn't break me out or cause bumping, im just scared to apply the foundation all over. It's been sitting on my desk for almost a month now
