see, I love a more buildable formula (like Hindash's also very thin powder formula) as I feel like it looks so much nice on my wrinkly lids and causes less issues on downturned eyes so this actually made me excited to get this! And your look did look super seamless and that lip liner colour was SO GOOD on you.

I got the DM palette. Once I figured out which brush to line eyes with it came out so much better than usual. It was work to figure out the eyes and then apply lips (especially since I haven’t applied makeup regularly since before pandemic as I’m still wearing a mask) as Im out of practice. But it did come out beautifully!

This was great!!😂😅😂 Always a great reminder of my island home. This palette was a non-starter for me with colors that I have many times over. Makeup should be easy. Never should you need to experiment with 5 brushes nor have part of the package fall off. The looked worked out, though.😂 Thanks for commenting on the "depuffing"and "100% of the cohort" claims. The concealer looked great as well. Always entertaining !!!😊😂😂😂

You are so skilled and adaptable Tina! I wonder how similar the formula of DM’s pomades are to her ColorFix? Also there’s the issue of the powders intermingling with the pomades. Being multi-purpose is good…I agree, duos might be more practical.💙💙💙

Thanks Sharon! The pomades are putty while the ColorFixes are liquid/cream. They aren’t even similar to her Balm Powder. It’s like playdoh with pigment.

As for MILK I’ve tried so many things from them. Just not impressed. Now on to the star of the show. Danessa Myricks ground works. First off you are hilarious with “Danessa come to the front…” 🤣🤣. She need to cause that thing falling off isn’t cute. Anyways I played with that palette a little more this morning. I used it to define my brows and you’re right it’s good for that. On the lips? Not for me. But I think it’s meant to be a subtle look so I’m not expecting the same result on my eyes that I get with Patrick Ta’s MD III palette. So as far as eye shadow goes he wins it. But I do love how the eye look came out on you today. I thought it was just so soft and lovely. I’m gonna do a eye look with it soon hopefully 🙏🏾 I get the same results as you cause that putty business is just too complicated for me. 😂. Anyways thanks for this video and I will see you back on Instagram.

OMG. THANK YOUUUU!! Girl, I thought I was going crazy. Whyyyyy didn't I wait for your review before I decided to purchase this. I got it about 2 months ago, tried it, felt the same way you do and put it away, thinking that maybe it was my lack of expertise. Because this is Danessa for crying out loud. I tried the palette at Sephora and I was unable to pick up any product on my fingers. I love Danessa but I was so disappointed so I'm passing on this palette. You're the first you tuber I've seen who gave such an honest reveiw. The other reviewers make it seem like it's easy to appply the product....but I know that's not true. You had to work hard to get product on your eyes and the end result was not very rich....the shadow seems too light for my licking. Thank you for doing this review. I plan to get the Patrick Ta palette....I love an all matte browns palette.

I can tell by looking at the pallet it’s too much going on for the regular consumer to be able to appreciate it which is why I knew I wouldn’t be interested in getting it. I don’t need all of that just to do a matte look even if it was easy to use

@@thefancyface thanks for confirming that. I really like Danessa’s blurring balms blushes and bronzers. It’s too bad this didn’t work on the eyes. I’ve seen some amazing looks on people who have had nothing but praise for the palette and it’s blend ability. I am sure most of them bought it themselves. I have seen a couple of people have problems with the fair powder and balm on the inner corner. I did order the palette. I’m looking forward to trying it and I’m a little intimidated by it as well.
