When I get a new powder, I leave the film alone, then I take something sharp and poke holes into the powder through the holes on the sifter. That way, it isn't so messy. I just turn the powder over with the cap still on and tap the bottom of the container with my hand. Just enough powder comes through the holes.

that's usually what I do too but this one closes very securely because of the "points on the lid" Ill be trying to find a way that's less messy

@@OhemaaI believe the caps are meant to keep the powder fresh for as long as possible. You're not supposed to remove the cover entirely but some brands have tops you can take off and put back on, such as Fenty.

The foundation is perfect. It looked flawless at the end. I thought the shade was a bit darker, but it wasn't. I prefer to go darker with my foundation than use an exact match

London Loves Beauty does carry the brand but it’s overpriced, I don’t recommend buying from them as the dispatch can be very slow. I ordered this foundation on 18th September and still haven’t received it apparently coming in the next couple of days after complaining!

The shade you used (I forgot the name) is a bit too dark IMHO, but it looked GREAT at the end! The deep setting powder reminds me of the regular powder you use! I think LYS has two more hit!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

I agree. I know make up has no rules but usually if you are in doubt of two shades, its better to pick the lighter. And honestly the other shade disappeared into her skin, even though the undertone doesn't match hers

I remember this first launch I purchased the press powder that still looks like it’s never been used and it is GOODT. I’ve not ever used a foundation stick and I’m due for one, this will be it. The price point is phenomenal. You are so professional and really show and teach us what we thought 💭 we knew.

Finding foundation is a hassle. I have a tan complexion, but my undertone is cool neutral. Brands cater to warmer undertones so I end up having to mix blue color corrector with nearly all of my foundations 🤦🏽‍♀️

I wish it was like my grandma's old days where every lady get their things customed made. It was like that with her clothes, shoes, makeup, and even furniture. She just went to store, pay for their service, packed up, and done. Like come onnnnnn bring back the custom made!

It looks really good on you. This brand is so practical, so I guess they were thinking about not spilling powder in a bag by being tightly closed, but it ends up everywhere else instead! You have me looking at it.

DPN4 look yellow on you. DPN6 is perfect because you can put concealer on key areas to balance the tones.

Hi. The finished look is beautiful. I have been meaning to buy the stick. I will swatch in store to make I'm the same shade as in the liquid foundation. I really like LYS products. Currently using the setting spray, eyebrow pencil, lip gloss in a cranberry shade ❤and lipstick in red shade ❤

Please do a shorts video using the neutral undertone foundation and then setting with a powder that you think is entirely too red but is a good one cause that's our struggle as the deepest dark skin women

I think that foundation matches beautifully! It creates a really even, cohesive canvas to work on. As someone with fair toned ruddy skin, I often struggle to even my skin out without medium to full coverage so this makes me want to try it on my skin.

For example your community posts you make for us with pictures and descriptions on youtube you do for us (not shorts I'm telling just the pictures) read thru the comments how much of a dopamine hit that you give your stans. If you were to give us shorts which are more in depth than a photo? It would be amazing and keep us engaged for longer than the current only photos options were given now till you make videos. Which obviously the KZbin reviews are top tier and it would all 3 go together (picture, short, video) as a perfect harmony sandwich and it would be a amazing sandwich in my book ❤

That’s good you love your skin tone, because in the makeup industry most of the time lighter skin tone want to be darker and darker and darker skin wants to be lighter nobody satisfied with them selves

I haven't tried the foundation yet I do have the pink powder and I like it I will get a different color though I feel like the pink can ashen me up a little bit. The only reason I haven't grabbed the foundation is because I have some others that I'm trying to finish before I grab anything new

I was wondering if the foundation stick from LYS is the same texture as the contour stick ... since I have a cool olive undertone. I really like the texture of LYS contour stick, but I want more of a cool undertone. This is why I say that brands need to go back to the drawing board because some of us have nuance undertones as well as shades should be from the fairest to the deepest of complexions.

DPN6 Is way too dark for you, l feel it somehow doesn't brighten your face at all. Your neck and decclotage is so much lighter. Are you able to get the 2 shades in a liquid form? If so, mix a half pump of each of the 2 shades on the back of your hand.
